The following chapter takes place three years after the conclusion of the original TOTGM series. Having left his Valley and family alike behind after the events of the first After Story special, which gave readers a brief glimpse into where the Nakazaki family calls home and an introduction to the forces who protect it, this is the beginning of a new journey as he heads toward the location where his ship awaits him, the R.M.S. Legend as it finishes its prepping for its maiden voyage...
Somewhere in a forest, already miles away from his homeland, Chris Nakazaki rests his head against a toppled tree, donning an old brown cloak with its hood shadowing his face while calmly enjoying the sights and sounds of the nature around him as he recovers from a lengthy farewell with his family. Having left Serenity, Alicia, and Rose behind to tend to their children in peace and safety alongside Aoi, the formerly abused human slave turned rehabilitated family, the original Guardian group has parted ways, agreeing it for the best no matter how begrudgingly so the decision was. Though that's certainly not to say Chris is alone, as while he slumbers and a sneeze creeps along his nose, his shadow extends a nurturing tendril to stop it, holding it along his nose before retracting it as he relaxes and sighs, giving a "thanks" in response as he looks down at his shadow, the dark figure opening a pair of eyes and showing a large grin, offering a cackling "ke ke ke!" in response. Raising up, Chris lets out a wide yawn with his arms stretched high in the air before pushing himself up and taking his trusty staff in hand. "So, enjoying your journey with me so far?" he asked, looking down at his shadow before it suddenly retracted beneath his feet and crawled up along his body beneath his cloak. Heading toward his shoulder, it condensed its size before a tiny figure rose from his neck, letting off an eerie smoke as it sat and swayed its feet, looking at him with another grin. "I'll take that as a yes." he chuckled, tickling the tiny figures chin. "Kinda funny when I think about it. I started my first adventure with a little Pokemon on my shoulder, and now it's happening all over again." Chris point out, thinking back on Serenity when she was still a tiny blind Ralts who once pat his head like a drum.
"Though the form you like to take on is way smaller, kinda like a fairy out of a story... Plus you don't even weigh as much as a feather it feels like so you're a little more convenient!" he laughed before adding "Don't tell Serenity I said that" with his finger over his mouth, giving the tiny being a wink and getting a "no worries" hand raised from it in response. "I dunno... Maybe a fairy isn't the right word... An imp really does suit you better. You like to tease and play too many pranks." he lectured, waving his finger making the figure let out a nervous cackle. "Not that I can fault you I suppose since you developed while being so attached to me in the process. Like father, like, uh..." he paused, looking at it before crossing his arms. "Shadow-mon...?" he added in a puzzled tone, not sure how to phrase the creatures existence. "After all this time, it's still hard to know what you really are. I mean, you're not really a ghost Pokemon, and they never officially made Shadow Pokemon an actual species since they were experiments... I should meet up with the professor sometime and see if we can start it up as a new class for your kind." Chris sighed before he started walking along the forest again. "Everybody feeling alright?" he added before tugging at his cloak and looking down his shirt beneath it, the stone embedded in his chest letting off a feint glow before going dim causing him to nod before yawning again. "Yeah... I feel the same. Places like this really make you feel so lethargic. Even after a nap it lulls you right back to sleep." he agreed. Continuing along, they eventually came to a wild orchard, with the trees growing various fruits and berries both humans and Pokemon alike could consume.
With its arm reaching up and shooting out, the tiny creature on his shoulder formed a bladed tip like a scythe and slashed a pair of fruit from the branches above them, catching the snack before retracting its arm and holding them up to Chris with a grin. "Ah! Thanks!" he grinned back, taking one for himself with an added "...Midna." and a warm smile while the creature essentially hugged the other fruit in its arms before opening its mouth wide and burying its face into the side of it, ravenously munching away. "Y-Your manners remind me of Serenity too..." he added, thinking back on the time she'd belched in front of him and put her feet on the mayors table back in Yulema City, a location which now held as many fond memories as somber ones as he reminisced. "...I think we should pay a visit to Anya in the near future. I bet she's having the time of her life now." he added, looking up at the rays of sunlight twinkling through the canopy above. "Her and that Mawile... Benevolent..." he smirked. "She's better off with that kid. Anya needs her way more than anyone else." Chris affirmed, only to be brought out of his nostalgic state when Midna started panicking on his shoulder, its head buried in the fruit as it flailed before falling off his shoulder. "W-Whoops!" he reached out, only to miss the catch as Midna landed on the ground with a splat, her form now oozing like a tiny puddle around the fruit. "U-Uhh... Sorry about that. My mind wandered." he apologized as Midna's form began rising, the goop-like puddle retracting into its body until it stood looking up at him with a scowl. Apologizing again, Chris found himself under an agitated attack as Midna zipped beneath his cloak and started giving him tiny bites at various places.
Jumping about, he repeatedly apologized while panicking until Midna finally zipped back out of his cloak, landing on top of the fruit it had dropped and sitting atop it like an agitated animal of sorts. Rubbing a spot on his thigh it had bit into, Chris scowled with a "it's YOUR fault" remark, lecturing Midna on letting its hunger get the better of it in the first place, only for the tiny creature to shake its fist and cackle back at him before growling and climbing off the fruit, resuming its feast. Letting out a sigh, after a moment Chris picked the fruit up only to find Midna had already burrowed its way into the core, now eating it from within. "...Look, sorry I let ya go splat on the ground." he apologized, only for a shadowy tendril to shoot from the hole and behave like that of a tongue before retracting into it. "...A fruit just blew me a raspberry..." he muttered with slight sweat on his face. "Alright... Have your fill." he nodded, tucking the fruit into the pocket of his cloak while continuing along his path, taking a bite out of his own. Looking at his staff as he walked, he glanced at Serenity and Rose's mega stones, causing him to think back on his departure from the Valley as the girls and their kids saw him off. "It not safe out there!! You NEED us!! Need ME!!" Serenity had insisted. "I-It's scary, you coming and going alone..." Rose added. "You're far too gullible to be left to your own doings. If not us, allow an escort." Alicia had affirmed in her own way of worrying, their voices of concern echoing in his head making him smirk along his way, causing him to sigh in a relieved tone while thinking back on how he'd insisted their children were top priority now, an argument none of them could stand against while affirming they and the people of the valley needed every guard present to keep things running smoothly and securely around them.
Remembering their children's responses, Alicia's triplets shared a similar mindset, collectively warning their father not to do anything stupid and return safely in a lecturing tone akin to their mother, while Serenity and Rose's kids were much more soft spoken, both sharing the same sense of loneliness from their father leaving and wanting him to return soon. Serenity's child point out how her mother was too strict nor' was as fun while Rose's child point out missing his cooking, a statement that made both the mothers and siblings stomachs growl, much to their collective embarrassment yet helped make the separation more lighthearted as he bid them farewell. Thinking back, despite sharing their mother's harsh attitude, Alicia's triplets also shared her honest eyes, which told their own sense of sadness from seeing him leave despite their fronts. Showing a grin, despite knowing it was a somber moment Chris couldn't help but think back positively on waving his family goodbye, knowing he'd be able to give them the same wave when he returned to his home to smiling faces instead of saddened ones, thinking of the way his kids would tackle him and the girls would dotingly smother him once he was back. Although every goodbye was sad, knowing there was an "I'm back" just around the corner allowed Chris to press on proudly and excitedly, munching away at his fruit and humming a merry tune as he continued walking along the rays of light beaming down from the canopy above. Eventually, he finally managed to reach the border of the forest, with the thickness of the trees gradually thinning the closer he got as a sprawling field shined under the sun in the distance. As he neared the last of the trees and gazed at the field before him, he stood in the remaining shade for a moment before looking up.
"Hey, Midna?" he called out, the creature suddenly zipping from his pocket and sitting atop his shoulder again, letting out a burp that caused smoke to waft from its mouth. "Mind helping me get up to the top of that tree there?" he asked. Looking up, it nodded with a grin. Holding Midna in his grasp, Chris swiped his hand to the side, causing the creature to turn into a shadowy whip of sorts that he sent snapping onto one of the branches. Letting out a "ready!" once Midna had a firm grasp, the creature cackled before he gave his arm a jerk, pulling the whip back before it snapped him upwards like that of a rubber band. Shooting up through the tree, Chris managed to land on the top branches, albeit with a slight wobble before holding his hand out and allowing Midna to return to her imp form. "I appreciate that." he smiled, getting a thumbs up from it before he turned back toward the direction he'd come. Far off in the distance, Chris could still see the mountains sticking up from the horizon that bordered his valley, his home growing smaller with every step he took. "Just having another glance at it... Won't see it for a while." he point out, Midna silently looking as well before turning the opposite direction and pointing toward the field with a grin. "I know, look back too long and that's all I'll do." he nodded. "I even get lectured from you, don't I?" he asked, the imp crossing its arms with a smirk. About to climb down, Chris suddenly felt a ping in the back of his mind, causing him to pause before facing the valley again. "...Ah, finally giving me your goodbye now, huh?" he asked with a smile. "Be cautious. Know you can call on me when need be. The part of me that was with you will always be ready to return to you when the situation calls for it." a voice echoed back.
"I'll try to take care of myself as best I can... A proper son can do that much, right?" he asked with a chuckle. "Thanks for worrying about me though, Ninetales." Chris nodded. "I'll keep you updated on things. You'll probably know when I need you even before I do though, so..." he added with a nervous laugh before suddenly seeing Ninetales face appear in aura form before him. "Remember the path I set before you. Follow it and you'll find those waiting for you along your way to your goal." she instructed before Chris took out his Pokedex and brought up a map with various markers. "Got it!" he grinned. "Good... And you..." the fox paused, looking at Midna causing the imp to growl like an agitated feline. "As simple as your brain might be, that is, being the primitive creature born of malice that you are... He still has some sort of soft spot for you, for whatever reason, despite the blotch on nature that you are... I trust you will reciprocate the life and protection he's given you by properly protecting HIM and his life in return." Ninetales affirmed, the imp hissing and waving its hand at Ninetales while standing on all fours on his shoulder in a wild "get lost!" manner, its smoke looking like that of tiny dark flames along its back. "...Wretched thing." the fox grumbled in response. "I do not understand how this creature exists. In all my years on this planet, never have I seen such an abnormal creation walk its surface, nor' be birthed from the manner it was." she added. "Hey, come on, go easy." Chris coaxed. "Midna's been doing fine. There haven't been any problems ever since we split its link with Serenity, now it's just a little fella who happens to be a little wild." he assured, scratching Midna's chin with his finger again making it jolt before letting off a strange purr, its flared darkness returning to that of a gentle smoke wafting from its back once more.
"I cannot help but feel a slight disturbance from your relationship with it... It doesn't bode well for me to see you bond with what is essentially a demon..." Ninetales replied with slight sweat on her face. "Well, think about our relationship, it was just as strange, don't you think?" Chris asked. "Besides, when it comes right down to it, after what happened three years ago... I don't think there's a particular crowd I don't fit in with any more." he affirmed, tugging at his cloak and looking at the blue stone in his chest again, leaving her without a response. "Anyway, we're off now... Take care of the family and valley for me, alright? The guards answer to you and the others when I'm gone." he affirmed, the fox nodding as he started climbing his way down. "See you later!" Chris added, Midna sticking its tongue out at Ninetales causing a pulse of anger to show on her face before bidding him "farewell" in response, her aura wafting away in the breeze like a flame extinguished. Once he was back on the ground, Chris rotated his arms with a sigh. "Used to do that all the time way back." he smirked, thinking back on his childhood when the village still existed. Looking ahead, he started making his way out of the remaining trees and across the fields before him, with Midna looking around and deciding to zip back to the ground and return to his shadow. Glancing down, Chris asked "nap time?" and got a wave from Midna via another tendril, the imp yawning before its face vanished and his shadow reverted back to the appearance of any other. Reaching into his pocket, he took out what remained of the fruit it had devoured, thinking "full belly..." before tossing it aside as he strolled through the grass, watching it flow with the breeze like waves reflecting the sunlight.
"Ahh... That's nice." Chris sighed, taking in the fresh air as his cloak swayed in the breeze. Looking around, several types of Pokemon could be seen roaming together in groups, including Furrets, Stantler, Linoone and Watchog, even a few Bouffalant and Sawsbuck could be seen among others, all enjoying the wide open space and the plentiful food the fields and nearby forestry had to offer. Making his way up a hill, once at the top Chris held his staff up and watched the Pokeball and stones glimmer in the sunlight before proudly standing it on the ground. "My hill!" he grinned before a sudden gust of wind blew off his hood, making him shield his eyes with his arm before looking around when the wind died down. "Nothing to stop the breeze here, just goes wherever it pleases... I kinda like that..." he smiled, looking around at all the Pokemon as they enjoyed the area in their own ways. After a moment, a bunch of young Rattata ran up and chased one another in a circle around him, too inexperienced to be afraid of a human while caught up in playing, causing him to stumble about before they vanished in the grass. "...Kids." Chris smirked before lifting his hood back over his head and moving along, walking down the opposite side of the hill. "...I wanna thank all of you again, for the extra time." he suddenly spoke up. "I'll get to enjoy this world, faults and all, the way I was supposed to, for the length I was supposed to, all because you came together for me... Even though you're just bits and pieces of all the ones who wanted me back... Always remember, to me each and every one of you is still a whole being all your own. If there's anything you want as I walk on this Earth, don't be afraid to tell me." Chris insisted.
"Though... If any of you want alcohol or stuff like that to satisfy you, I'm uh... Not very good with things of that nature... I hope we can work something out." he added with a nervous laugh, feeling the stone in his chest resonate warmly to his words. "If you can put up with my weaknesses, I'll do my best to find other things we can all enjoy!" he added, tugging his cloak to find the stone now shining brightly, causing him to smile. "...It really means a lot to me that you're happy to be in there, to be with me... I can never repay you for what you've done, but... I promise, we'll live together making folks as happy as you've made me and my family!" Chris assured, the stone suddenly sparkling as if something within, countless in number, were giving individual responses. Chuckling at the sight, he nodded before the stone went dormant once more, leaving him to walk with only his thoughts to preoccupy him along the way. Eventually, he managed to reach an area in the field where a Pokemon could be seen flying in a bizzare manner. Tilting his head, Chris curiously and cautiously made his way closer as not to draw attention until he could make out the species, finding it to be a Toucannon, a rare species for the area. Letting out a drawn out"wo-ah" from the sighting, he was impressed to find one so far from its usual habitat, likely migrating and having distracted itself with something along its way. Watching it flap around excitedly just above the grass, the Pokemon repeatedly dove down countless times with its claws extended. "...Hunting?" Chris muttered. Noticing something rustling about in the grass, he also spotted nearby Pokemon starting to gather at the scene and begin acting just as oddly, rushing about in the same area as if giving chase alongside the Toucannon.
"...Dunno if that's hunting, do different species usually gather like that? Playing then, maybe?" Chris pondered to himself as the Pokemon grew more excited the longer they chased about among one another. "Sure are weird ones, aren't they? I guess folks here live so peacefully they get along well enough to gather like that... Doesn't look like they're fighting among themselves." he added before shrugging. "I'm no Professor, that's a little beyond me." he added, showing a smile and slight sweat on his face. Deciding it best to move along rather than stick around and get potentially caught up in the ever growing number of Pokemon rushing about, Chris started walking off at a safe distance from the groups, continuing to watch them as he went. Once safely around and continuing on his set path, his back turned to the excited gathering behind him, he let out a sigh of relief and went back to enjoying the breeze of the open fields. Unfortunately for him, just as the saying goes, you shouldn't turn your back to wild animals, and as he casually strolled along, happily humming to himself once more and oblivious to all but the sound of the wind in the grass and the sight of the waving motion of the field, Chris found himself caught up in the excitement when something darted like a bullet toward him, speeding through the grass with the sound of its rustling so subtle it was too drowned out by the wind to be noticed until it shot up the back of his cloak, causing him to jolt with an "eh?" and blink from the startle. Looking around, Chris responded with a wary "h-hello?" while facing behind himself, wondering what had touched him as he tried reaching back and feeling himself. Thinking it might be Midna playing another of her tricks, he looked toward his shadow with a scowl and ignored it, facing forward to resume his trek.
However, instead of being able to progress, instead Chris was greeted by the face of the same Toucannon from before, flapping just inches before him with an eerily dark expression showing. Stuttering nervously, Chris took a few steps back from the agitated looking Pokemon, only to pause when he noticed others of the various species that lived in the fields having gathered behind him, leaving Chris cornered by once playful and now enraged looking Pokemon. Sweating slightly, he tried to assure them he was moving along, not intending to stay in their territory as he made his way out of their blockade only to have them surround him once more. "D-Did I somehow do something wron...!!" he tried to ask before the Toucannon suddenly screeched and dive bombed into his cloak. Flailing and panicking about, Chris jumped and darted in circles while trying to get the bird out of his clothes, using his staff to whack at his own back before it shot out from the front of his cloak, causing him to clumsily whack himself on his own face with his staff. Letting out a shout and clutching his nose, Chris was left with a mark of his own doing as the Toucannon circled above and screeched repeatedly. Hearing the Pokemon around him making their own annoyed sounds, Chris took on a defensive stance as the various species slowly approached him from all directions, with several more bird Pokemon joining the Toucannon overhead. With the numbers growing larger, he decided to play an old card and shout "over there!!" in the hopes it'd distract the group. Luckily managing to make them turn their attention for a split second, Chris used the opportunity to vault over the Pokemon using his staff before racing off along the field.
"It started off so well..." he thought to himself as he hurried along. Having not fallen for his scheme as the others had, the flying Pokemon immediately gave chase before the others, the Toucannon having called not only random flying Pokemon from nearby but what appeared to be its own flock of Pikipek and Trumbeak. "Wh-Wadaya want?! What did I do?!" Chris panicked as the bird started dive bombing him, furiously trying to grab at his hair and cloak as he dashed and darted about. Rushing to reach the end of the expansive field where more forestry awaited, it was all he could do just to avoid having their claws in his face as he was forced to play baseball with the furious birds, batting them away with his cane whenever an unlucky Pokemon wasn't able to dodge. Having been woken from its slumber, Midna started aiding him as well, shooting tendrils from his shadow to send countless Pokemon flying and swatting countless like flies. Eventually he finally managed to reach the border of the forest he'd been aiming for, vaulting over bushes using his staff a second time and quickly lying on the ground as countless birds dove right into the trunk of a tree before him, their beaks hitting the wood so hard it was like driving in nails, leaving them stuck as he raised up and turned pale. "Th-They really have it in for me...!!" he panicked before quickly stumbling his way through the trees. Dodging and darting about, the birds repeatedly drove their beaks into the trees trying to land a hit on him while the Pokemon chasing on foot clawed and charged into trunks themselves. Finding himself quickly running out of energy, Chris was lucky enough to notice a particular spot in a hollowed out trunk that was good for hiding.
Making a final sprint, he raced about and made a quick turn before Midna engulfed him in shadow within the trunk, making it appear as though nothing but a dark spot of shade was present within the rotted tree. As the remaining Pokemon that hadn't gotten themselves stuck or knocked out caught up, they gathered around the area and searched diligently, some sniffing away right where Chris was only for Midna to frighten them off by revealing one colossal eye and a gaping maw of sharp teeth on the outside of the shadow that concealed Chris within, turning the Pokemon that ventured too close a pale color and sending them running. For those that flew above and picked up on Chris, the imp continued rapidly swatting them away like flies, its tendrils snapping at them so fast the only thing the other Pokemon could see was their kin being shot through the air, unnerving those that remained until the entirety of their pursuers gave up and left. Once positive they were gone, Midna started cackling excitedly from the sly victory, the particular way they got rid of their enemies pleasing the imp as it released Chris from the shadow that had consumed him. Stumbling out of the trunk, Chris shuddered and shook off the awkward sensation, unaccustomed to the vibe being engulfed by such a strangely manipulated form of darkness can cause. Feeling perfectly comfortable, yet at the same time like he'd been in a freezer with remains right behind him as the best example, he gave Midna his thanks while working off the remainder of the vibes within him. "Now THAT is going to take getting used to..." he point out as the imp cackled again, darting up his body and giving his cheek a hug.
"I-I guess this is what it felt like for you to wrap me up like that, huh? A hug?" he asked, Midna grinning in response. "G-Gotta be honest, I'm still not sure WHAT it feels like for me... I'm glad you enjoy it though." he laughed nervously as it took its place on his shoulder again. "Man... Not sure WHAT got into them. I stayed plenty far away, didn't make a noise, then all of a sudden BAM, there they were... Do I smell weird?" he asked before raising his arm and taking a whiff of himself, Midna tilting its head curiously. "...Guess not." he muttered as a scent beyond his own suddenly waft along his nose. "Wuzzat...?" Chris added, sniffing the air curiously before checking himself again. Tugging at his cloak, he smelled where his chest was before checking his sleeves. "...Is it this?" he asked before setting his staff aside. Taking a moment to remove it, Chris looked his cloak over, smelling various places curiously with his body revealed, showing he still donned the white coat given to him years ago beneath his new shroud. "Weird... It's all fruity now..." he muttered, continuing to look it over and letting Midna smell as well, the imp showing drool on the side of its face before trying to take a bite of his cloak. "Hey! No! Not food!" Chris lectured, causing it to scowl and bite him on the earlobe. "A-Agh!! I'm not either!!" he snapped, rubbing his ear while getting another grin and cackle from his companion. Suddenly hearing a strange noise from behind, both he and Midna jolt and paused for a moment before the imp let out a threatening hiss, its dark flames rising along its spine once more as it got on all fours and warily crawled along Chris's shoulders, looking around like a hunter ready to go in for a kill.
Suddenly, it froze again when looking down Chris's back. There clinging to his coat with its tiny feet was a berry looking type of Pokemon, struggling to maintain its grasp while Midna let out an enraged screech, its eerie flames sparking up all the hire before it charged at the Pokemon trying to cling to Chris, knocking it off and sending it tumbling along the ground with a startled shout of its own while Midna stuck to Chris's back in its place, remaining on all fours and hissing as tendrils escaped its body. Highly territorial and predatory combined, the imp didn't take well at all to a foreign creature attaching itself to him while he turned to have a look at the Pokemon for himself. "E-Eh...?" he muttered, blinking at it while Midna shot up his back and stood atop his shoulder with its rear arched up, letting out another hiss. "Hey, hey... It's alright. Easy there..." Chris coaxed, working to settle the imp down using its chin again and petting along its head with his fingers. Calming Midna enough so the dark flames returned to wafting smoke of sorts, the imp remained on guard nonetheless as he approached the berry looking creature lying before him. Noticing it had been knocked out, Chris squat down and gave the Pokemon a poke. "...Bounsweet..." he muttered. After a moment, he suddenly let out a frustrated groan and sat with a flop, leaning back against his hands and sighing. "Pokemon go crazy for these things... No wonder they were pissed off. It's like I was stealing their food... Oy..." he sulked. "You must've been what I felt right before they attacked... Tried to hide huh?" he asked before poking the Pokemon again. "You should know better than to use other people like that without warning though." Chris lectured.
Taking a moment to rest and collect his thoughts, looking at the unconscious Bounsweet before him also reminded him of the others. Serenity was out of it as well when he took her under his wing, same as Rose and Alicia who slipped out of consciousness for their own reasons once he'd found them. Feeling strong deja vu, Chris scratched his head while thinking of what to do. Knowing its kind was just as rare around the area as the Toucannon that chased it, others would quickly give chase all over again in an attempt to snatch such a rare and foreign treat in the wild. In an area like they were at, the Bounsweet would stick out beyond the possibility of survival, and it was a surprise to see it had made it as long as it had period. Feeling it was a testament to the durability and perseverance of the Pokemon before him, Chris crossed his arms as he debated his decision, knowing keeping the unlucky morsel would turn him into a target for countless others as well. Nonetheless, turning down aiding one as helpless as a fish out of water would go against all he'd done for others under much worse circumstances in the past, so with a deep breath Chris let out a sigh and nodded before donning his cloak once more, taking his staff and scooping the Bounsweet into his arm. Letting out an agitated growl, Midna wasn't too thrilled to have the Pokemon tagging along, only for Chris to call its name in a warning tone causing the imp to jolt and grin nervously. "It's not gonna cause any harm... Asides us getting chased here and there maybe... It's too worn out to even defend itself right now, leaving it would be telling it to go die." he affirmed, getting a slump from Midna and nodding.
"I interrupted your nap when we were being chased... Why don't you go ahead and get some shuteye too?" Chris suggested, tilting his head to allow the imp room to return to his cloak. Nodding in response, it crawled up to his neck before attaching itself and essentially oozing back down his body in shadow form, returning to his shadow for some solitude as Chris quietly made his way along the path ahead of him, keeping a wary eye on the area around him. Deciding it best to conceal the Bounsweet so its scent was at least slightly masked, he tucked it inside of his cloak, keeping it cradled in his arm beneath it.
"First day on the road and already a new friend... I guess I can't complain about that." he smirked. "Not that I'm a fan of HOW we met though..." he added while showing a slight scowl, lifting his staff and rubbing his head as he remembered all the birds trying to scratch at him...
Three years after the original TOTGM series conclusion, the tales of Chris Nakazaki go on long after his first grand journey came to an end. Whether at home or abroad, those who both, need and seek his aid never cease to appear, the location and time irrelevant...
