Ok, so this is another mix of old and new.
Just a bit of an experiment. Sorry about the music if it's too loud or whatever.
Oh, and do tell me if the "preloader" thing actually works. I can't tell, because I don't know what I'm even doing. D8
This is probably the worst coded thing in human history. But, I got it to work... kinda. Threw it together on a whim, actually, after something reminded me of Metroid Prime, and how the first time I played it I really enjoyed the idea of a multiplayer game with the visor HUD and some cool scanning thing... and combat, of course... but actually typing that out now, I am reminded of No Man's Sky... hmm. Interesting that IT did not scratch that itch for a particular type of game.
As it turns out, I suck at drawing backgrounds, lol, so I guess that makes this project idea even harder to put together. Argh! D8
But, I suppose the graphics aren't exactly the most important part. Nor are the sound effects. The code is what forms the backbone of the game, so that is what I need to figure out. Everything else is just gravy. ^_^
EDIT: OH WOW the loading bar thing DOES still work?! D8 And here I thought it was an outdated way of doing it, lol. COOL. That means I can try applying it to, say... that hyperspace thing. Hehehe. 8D
