Which 'mech lost its engine, the Atlas or its target?

The Atlas as it got focused down by a horde of angry enemies. And it still lived thanks to CASE.

Nice Scottish colours. I'm not a fan of SRMs and LRMs though. I'm allergic to them now.

-My buddy with missiles in Battletech-
Roll a bucket of dice to see how many hit.
Now roll a bucket of dice to see hit locations.
Now roll a bucket of dice to determine damage to those locations.
I uh, roll one die for my gauss cannon.
Roll 1 die for location.
1 die for damage. Oh, your turn again? I'll go take a shower while you do the rolling and the Math...

Interesting use of the hand actuators. Does it need a piloting or weapon skill to flip the bird? >_<

Only SRMs (and LB-X clusters) are rolled singly like that. LRMs and MRMs are grouped into 5-point clusters when rolling for hit locations.
It should also be noted that damage is static per missile. It's always 2 for an SRM and 1 for an LRM or MRM or LBX cluster pellet.

Regarding the hand actuator: this does not require a piloting roll; most 'Mechs that are equipped with hand actuators have gloves inside the cockpit that allow the pilot to do whatever gestures or fine motor control with the hand actuators as the pilot pleases. Also useful for carrying things.

It's been ages. 20 years? Lol. Great sessions though. Most fun was in urban maps, where you had buildings with structural strength, and mechs that could get on top of sturdy buildings had a risk of falling through...
Luvs your work. Maybe one day we'll get a Behemoth commissioned!
