Character Sheet for Mele
Character Description
Tall and slender, Mele holds after her father Xercès and his grandfather. Her coat which shows only variants of gray is odd on the colorful lands of Punk Wolf. On the death of her father, Mele also recovered, as an undying memory of his father, the scarf of the latter, she embellished it with two pins inherited from her mother. If not for her lack of color, Mele is the spitting image of her father, from his natural sidecut to his endless hair. She also wears two curved horns, legacy of her maternal lineage. However, these horns are heavy, and they hurt her neck, and back, in a minor way for now, but it will worsen with age. Futhermore, Mele is androgynous, so people mistake her regularily for a male. It does not bother her and she does not correct the wolves who are wrong about her sex.
Last fack, Mele is 90% blind! She can only see colors and vague shapes. How can she recognize the healing plants then? By smell alone! She has an incredible sense of smell, and a very good hearing, as a lot of blind animals has. This is also one of the reasons she does not want to live in a pack : as blind, she does not recognize people unless she can smell them, or hear their voice. It makes her very anxious to be surrounded by others as it is harder to identify them all.
Personality
Mele is a pacific wolf, who knows how to defend herself when threatened. She is repugnant to violence, but does not hesitate to go for the blow if necessary. She has a healing soul, inherited from her father, formerly a Brethen Lantern. She learned from him the properties of all the plants in the forest, those who heal and those who kill, as well as the principles of health care. Mele's first instinct is to help, to support, however, she does not want to join a pack for the moment. She does not feel the desire to live in a group, but can support the presence of one or two comrades for a few days. Mele is claustrophobic, and living in a pack gives her the impression of a lack of space and air. She needs her private space and long moments alone.
