You're fine. I wasn't trying to get after you, to be honest. :p Originally, I'd tagged this one with the weasel tag in a couple of other galleries as well as this one. Then it occurred to me polecats aren't quite weasels, so I went back and deleted the tag from them all. I just wasn't sure if you had seen it before I'd deleted it or not. :p
In truth, skunks aren't polecats, but are sometimes called that due to similarities in appearance and behavior, especially the spraying ability. Explorers and settlers often name new animals after similar ones back home even though they're only distantly related. Examples include mountain lions vs. African lions, American robins vs. European robins, or the zorilla itself vs. foxes (zorilla being derived from the Spanish word for fox, zorro).
