I'm late for Inktober, but here are some of my latest ink drawings.

First is a view of planet Ridgelon, where Berenjilda comes from. I know the perspective is all wrong and the lines are not straight. As you know I never use rulers or any tool to make straight lines. I draw as it comes naturally from my hands. I may fix it a little in photoshop later when I include it into my comic.

The second is a planet falling into a star. Could also be a scene I'll include in the comic, but the story is still under development.

The third is... I don't know. Probably one of the things that live deep under the city of Tuguria, which is based on my childhood experiences that I relive in distorted form in my dreams. Also part of a comic in the works.

I think your wavy style works well with sci-fi because as technology progresses we're seeing more and more tech geared towards growing structures with nano tech. the organic look makes sense in the realm of sci-fi.

That's a good excuse I can use from now on.

I remember when they made the Back to the Future ride they used wavy and curved lines in the designs to trick the riders minds into believing the scenery was much bigger than it really was. They used miniatures and forced perspective for the futuristic landscapes and straight lines would make it easier for people to notice it, curved stuff confuses the brain and makes it accept the illusion.

I wouldn't use the term excuse, more like going with the flow I guess :P but yeah I don't see it as a detriment.

These feel a lot like Phoglio's comics from the late 80's and early 90's. I really like the style. Or like the movie Mom and Dad Save The World. When I watched that recently my dad and I expressed that it felt like a twisted version of Doctor Suess art brought to life, and I get that vibe here.

Thanks. I'm not very familiar with the artist but looks like good stuff.
