Graduation Day
School’s out for Summer Schools out forever
“Will this day ever end” I thought to myself as I sat in my class chare a felt a tap on my shoulder and turning my head I saw Fire Fly my um…..well I will just come out and say it my soon to be wife yeah I know what you’re thinking I’m only 15 years old and I’m already set to marry someone well I do love her and I know she loves me

As the teacher finish’s the bell rings the class room rings with the cheers of the students for with that bell signals the start summer vacation the teacher calls out from the front of the class room “have a fun summer vacation ever furry and pony” he says as I feel warm forelegs wrap around me in a hug
“hehe time for summer vacation” she say’s and kisses my cheek “hayyyyy Firefly come on were still at school “ I say as she kisses me again this time on my muzzle which makes my cheeks blush “hehe do you two need to get a room?”

. My ears went up and a smile came to my face “really there both hear but dad told me he and mom were going to be on the other side of the city all day” I think to myself as we walk to the class room door our teacher an older male kitsuna put his paw on my shoulder
“Mr. Caelum I do hope you have a good summer vacation before your marriage to Ms. Princes so he does not fall asleep in class or on the Thorne” he says with the hearty chuckle of some one who’s been around for a long time I felt my cheeks blush “i….i only fell asleep once” I say as we walk to the door ware we meet up with Velvet Dusk a Unicorn the same age as me parts of her light violet coat peeking out from her uniform her pretty hazel eyes with just the hint of gold her purple and pink mane tied back in a long pony tail she smiled to the 3 of us “Hi ever pony and furry looks like it’s were all done with school “ she says with a warm smile on her muzzle as all four of us make our way to the front of the school the large wood and glass double doors opened on their own as we step into the warm bright mid-day sun
I let out a soft murr as the sun warms my blue fur and look down the long steps to see two cars a long limo and a short car waiting for us by one I see my last two bests friends Gladius and Ignis Ignis a Snow leopard sat next to the limo’s back door a smile on his muzzle showing off some of his sharp fangs
a pair of black rimmed glasses sat high up on his muzzle highlighting his bright green eyes. Gladius on the other paw was tall and by tall I mean tall the Legendry War Hero of the pony’s Big Macintosh would have to look up to see his face and just to add to it Gladius is a unicorn with a as he puts it a short horn I on the other paw call it a stubby horn but I would never say that to his face hehe
then I turned my head and saw my Mother and Father who both look up and smile at the four of us as we made our way down I look to my dad as he and mom wave me over to get wrap in a warm hug for both of them and a kiss to my forehead from my mother I felt my dad’s warm paw on my back I look up to his face he wore a warm smile but there was a sadness in his eye’s it had to be because of the Peace talks with the Asgard Empire
I felt a nuzzle on my cheek from my mother “congratulations Silver looks like your done with your Schooling is all done all that’s left is for you to walk at graduation tonight “ she says with a smile my Father let’s out a small chuckle it was nice to hear I rarely hear him laugh any more “come son let us take a raid we need to talk then we will group you off with the others
“ I nodded as I got into my father’s car the Regalia the seats were very comfy and cool from the AC being on and I saw dad get into the seat be side me that’s when I saw then the two red horns on his head I had seen them many times but this time they look a lot bigger and the fur around them once a dark blue almost black was now a bright red same as the horn’s
Dad gave a nod to the driver a young unicorn mare in a Kings Glaive Uniform I saw a bit of her red fur peeking out from the collar of her uniform she smiled back at me “I hope you had a good last day of school young highness “ she says with a smile “ yes I did Rudy thanks I see your have been driving my mom and dad around today did you draw the short straw?” both my mom and Ruby giggled at what I side and my dad look at me “did I miss something dear?” he says as my mom somes down from her giggling “no no nothing dear Ruby and I just wanted a girls day that’s way she wanted to be added to out watch detail”
We made our way to the main highway leading out to the mountains a large tunnel loomed before us cut into the mountain itself a large sign read “Now Leaving Academy City” we did not stay in the highway tunnel for long
Ruby made a right hoof or right paw turn to an offshoot tunnel with a large sign that read “Overlook Park and trail Heads”
My eyes went wide as I knew where we were going I look up at my mom and dad a big smile on my face I loved going to the overlook I was a place just for the 3 of us mom and dad took me up hear when I was 4 years old and I fell in love with the place
Ruby pulled the Regalia into an empty parking spot my dad opened the side door and slips out flowed by my mom and I “thank you Ruby we won’t be long “ he says as the 3 of us head for some tables me on one side and my mom and dad on the other side myself I took in a lung full of the sweet mountain air the scent of the rock’s and tree’s my dad clears his throat and look at me a smile on his muzzle the same with my mom’s
“Son I want you to know how proud your mother and I are of you” I blush a little under my fur. “ how you have grown so much from a young pup to a strong young furry” my Mother says with a smile on her own muzzle as my dad looks me in the eye “ and for your up coming wedding your mother and I want to give you some thing”
He nods his head as Ruby trots over with 3 items in her magic and sets them in front of me a long rectangular box with a blue bow on top a small box with a rainbow ribbon keeping it closed and finally a folder with a letter with a wax seal holding it closed “wow a..are all 3 of this for me ?” I ask my right paw on my own chest both of them nod to me as my dad pushes the long box to me “open it son” I nod and start to undo the bow on top as my dad smile’s “ your going to be a husband soon son and as a husband it’s your job to keep your family safe “
he says as I undo the bow and lift the lid and my heart skips a beat as my eyes behold a Beautiful Sword using my magic I lifted the sword from the box feeling it’s light weight looking over the light blue blade the engine hilt the paw and muzzle grip’s then I look to my dad “w….when did you have this made dad?” I ask as I held the sword in my paws the paw grip rings fitting my paws perfectly “last year son I wanted it ready for today” he says as I lightly moved the sword first with my paws then in my magic it was perfect I dismiss the sword in a flash of light and padded over to hug my dad “thanks dad “ he hugs back “every husband needs a sword to help hi protect his family“ just then my mother gave a little giggle
“hehe come now son there’s still two gifts left for you to open” she says as I sit back down and she pushes the small box to me “this ones from me son “ she says and push’s the small box to me with her paw I took it in my paw using my magic to undo the ribbon and open the box my heart skips a bet
Inside of the box siting on a pillow of red velvet was a pendent with a sun gold and flame red gem stone set in it “that’s a life gem son it’s something from my home land that has been in my family for some time legend say that a life stone is formed when a phoenix finds its life mate”
She says as I look at the pendent “there love and life force forms with in the female phoenix’s body and it only comes out when the female phoenix lays her egg’s” she says as I blush a bit “but this ones rare can you see how it’s gold and red normal life stones are red or gold but not both “ she says and puts a paw on my own
I look up at her and nod “i..i will keep close to my heart mom thank you mom” she cones over and hugs me tight and kisses my cheek “your welcome son” dad smiles at us and slides over the last gift over to me a large looking folder I hold the folder in my paws and look at my dad “a new husband needs some place to take his family” he says with a grin on his muzzle
I open the folder to the first page and I see the name Arcadia Bay beach Resort home deed
My dad looks at me as I lower the paper “d……dad is this for real” I say as he nods and floats over a large key ring in his magic “yes son it’s all yours it’s ware I took you your mother and sisters for vacation’s so now it’s all yours now son and those keys go to the home and to the locker that holds the keys to the water crat air craft and cars so you 6 enjoy have fun “ I run over and hug my dad tight ‘thank you so much dad mom “
Later on that after a good meal with my friends I open the door to the apartment the home was quit Fire Fly and Velvet Dusk were both out getting there manes for tonight I told them I would help them pack there suite case’s I sat down on the sofa flipping on the TV a News Broadcast came on a panda and a fox news anchor’s talking about the up and coming peace treaty
Laying my head back looking up at the celling I felt my self-starting to does off so I got up and made my way to the shower to clean up a bit later making my way out of the fur dryer stall getting my cell phone and seeing that I had a text sent from Fire Fly and Velvet Dusk sounded like the girls were on their way back I did not really feel like putting on anything so I slip on some under ware and a pare off shorts along with a t-shirt just as the girls came in with full saddle bags making my way over to help the girls
“wow what did you two buy out the whole store” I say putting the saddle gags on the sofa Fire Fly fly’s over and hugs me “no smarter pants we just got a few things for the trip you know swim suits sun block snacks “ she says then Velvet pipes in “and new books” she says and blushes
As I chuckle “hehe Velvet your one of a few pony’s and furry’s that I know who would bring a book to the beach “ I say with a chuckle as Fire Fly hugs and nuzzles me
“hehe oh Silvy you will change your mind about her being with the other egg head pony’s and furry’s once you see the swim suit I help pick out for her hehe “ she says as Velvet blushes heard “i..its not that bad of a swim suit” she says as Fire Fly giggles “ oh really Velvet I think you almost gave that kitty stock boy a heart attack * she says as Velvet trots away to her room her cheeks blushing beat red
Sometime later the big night was hear I stood in a large auditorium at my high school Fire Fly was right behind me as the my name was called making my way up to the front the principal one paw took my diploma and the other shock his paw making my way back to my seat minutes later the last student got his diploma and we all toss out hats into the air and cheer
Later that night all six of us were gathered at the apartment watching a movie we were all laughing as a bunny cop and a fox cop run down a crime boss in a helicopter
as the fox cop keeps telling the bunny cop to let him fly that he’s a much better pilot then she is tell she relents and lets him fly
the next day I lift the suitcase into the back of the Van with a grunt as Gladius chuckles behind me “having trouble there prince ?” he says “nope not at all just that my wife to be decided to pack a little more stuff when i was not looking” I say with a smile on my muzzle as I close the back sliding door
as we all claim in and buckle up as Ignis starts up the van and we roll out onto the main highway
it does not take us long to reach the dock ware some of the Kings Glaive and Kings Guard are waiting for us by a large sea side Hanger one of the Guard’s opens the large door’s and we drive in the site of a larg sea plan greets us as Ignis parks the van close by the sea plane
we all piled out of the van and opened up the back to get all of the stuff out of the back I started to pull out my glider as Gladius started to pull out the surf boards and suite cases and putting them onboard the sea plane an old refurbish PBY Catalina turned into a vacation plan with bunks and a bathroom
20 minutes later the Night Star loaded up and ready to fly as one of the Kings Glaive comes over with a bow to me “your Highness your father wanted me to give you this gift and to tell you to only open it when your out over the ocean and out of our airspace “
he says as he paws over a large heavy box I place it inside of the plane and thank him as the Kings Guard caption talks to Ignis the two node as the Kings Guard move away and out of the Hanger and open the large doors to the bay the scent of the sea fill’s the hanger
as Ignis and I sat in the cockpit running though our preflight list the engines rumbled to life and we started to roll out of the hanger and into the deep blue water and I flip a leaver that pulls up the landing gear and we start to move along the water picking up speed and we both pulled back on the control’s as we lifted off into the sky
as we fly over the city I can help but smile seeing places I went with my friends and family we passes over the Mammoth’s Lakes Resorts the town alive year round at one end of the small valley I see a road going off to the Rocky Creek resorts as we fly by I cant help but feel like this was going to be the last time I was going to see my home land as I look around I see an Empire air ship making it’s way to
the Crown City a heavy feeling in my heart wishing I was back home to be with my family for this to see an end to this war grabbing a pair of binoculars
from a pocket on the side of the seat I held them to my eyes to get a better look at the air ship it was small 1 hull with two seats of wings and a clear cone cockpit the pilot was easy to spot looking like a zebra I put the binoculars away as we fly on to Arcadia Bay
