This picture took a lot longer than anticipated. So much so, that I didn't even bother to shade anything... I'll do it later, after i finish part 2. Part 2 will feature the rest of my next gens including some new ones such as my Big mac x Cheerilee kids as well as my eldest Fluttershy child. He's a doozy. As for the picture, there is a lot going on so I'll try to simplify it all.

Ahem. Starting from right to left:

Parfait is super excited. He finally got one of his pictures in a magazine. It wasn't a big spot but it was something. Just that little win was enough of a joy, but along with that, he learned he had a fan right next to him. Who knew his dear old Tranquilizer was a fan of his? That was awesome. He had to know what the usually stuffy and boring Pegasus liked the most about his debut picture. Was it his flexibility? His grace? His ass? What was it that drew him in?!

Tranquil is freaking out. Parfait is confronting him about the magazines he bought the other day. He knew that Chocolate knew but he didn't think the guy would tell Parfait. What kind of brother tells his kid brother about how his friend keeps magazines of him under his bed? It's not even weird or anything! He really did only read them for the ads... So what if he dogeared a few non ad-related pages and mostly looked at those... It wasn't weird and he wasn't into stallions damn it

While Epic didn't inherit her mothers love of flying, she did inherit her mothers natural competitive spirit. While she is still friends with Serenade (Now calling himself Chopin cause Serenade sounds too girly), she sees him as more a rival now. She is constantly challenging him to contests to see who is better. Neither of them are professionals but Chopin is definitely more popular. She still gets mistaken for a stallion despite her voice changing.
Note: Epic gets super jealous when she sees Chopin hanging out with pretty mares. She tries to tease him about it but he always throws her off by saying that she is prettier than any mare that approaches him. She will never admit that those words help ease her self consciousness a lot more than her mom telling her thats she's great no matter how she looks.

Serenade adores Epic, though he wishes she would stop competing with him. While he admires her passion, all he wants is to sing alongside her. He likes her but doesn't know if he 'like' likes her or friend 'like' her. Despite this, he does enjoy teasing her with his successes, if only so he can hear her call him 'Seren' like she did when they were younger. Now she calls him Chopin like everypony else. He doesn't like that.
Note: Serenade is one of the tallest of my next gens. While he may have started out small, he grew up to be tall and fit, tending to tower over other ponies. This along with his deep baritone voice, makes him very popular with mares and stallions alike.
Green Tea knows Hazy is uncomfortable with his looks. He still thinks the scar on his face was self inflicted though Hazy claims to not recall how he got it. To help him get more comfortable with himself, Tea has decided to bombard the self conscious colt on how beautiful he actually is and to not hate his looks just cause there are assholes who would hurt him because of them.

Hazy would usually be teasing his brother about how lame he was acting but his attention is on Green Tea. Hazy has always been uncomfortable being a center of attention. Being noticed while homeless and weak was a good way to get robbed, hurt, killed or worse. His looks always made him a target for unsavory ponies who liked his feminine looks, but Greenie when Greenie tells him how nice he looks, he doesn't feel disgusted. Its' strange but he liked being called beautiful, at least by Green Tea.

Sirius is freaking out. There is a super hot stallion beside him and he can't get himself to speak at all. Curses! He wished he could understand why it was that Helix fascinated him so much. Something about him drew his eye, making him want to get closer and talk to him. He wanted to... He doesn't know what he wants but damn it if it doesn't have something to do with the dark and mysterious unicorn.

Note: Sirius' mane has a weird quirk. Like his birth mother, his mane shimmers and waves without any explanation. But when he's nervous, the hair gets a bit wild and wavy. He rarely freaks out in front of others so it's usually not a problem but now, he's at dinner!

A mysterious pony that Sirius and Hazy met on the street (I'll draw their meeting later). While Hazy doesn't get why his brother is so interested, he respects Sirius enough to let this guy in. The Mysterious Stallion who calls himself Helix, continuously flirts with Sirius though he is currently talking to Crescent because she began interrogating him. He doesn't mind. He is a new face after all.

Crescent Moonstone is talking to the mysterious pony Sirius invited to the party. She can tell Sirius has a thing for the stallion but she can't help but notice how often he lies. Her time in Canterlot, both on and off the streets, has taught her how to sniff out a liar. And this guy, is totally a liar. But what is he lying about?
Note: Crescent's mane is still under construction. I want to find a mane style that fits her but I haven't found it yet. She takes after her mom in that she likes to look her best, though her beginnings make her always feel ugly.

Skyla usually doesn't pay too much attention to other ponies but this new guy seems interesting to her, so she watches him throughout the dinner. He never speaks to her, though she knows he noticed her. She is just waiting for him to confront her about it.

Note: Skyla is very short compared to other ponies. She is probably the shortest among her age group. It doesn't bother her too much until Flurry gets older and taller than her.

Desert is still in the middle of her night training. While she has managed to get used to being awake at night, her body's natural instinct to rest sneaks up on her often and she collapses in the middle of conversations and events. I guess in a way, she has narcolepsy.

The guy on the far end of the table is a Batpony named North Wind. I plan on changing his hair a bit but so far, I like the colors. He's supposed to have very wintery colors in his mane. He is Princess Desert Moon's bodyguard/playmate. He is always somewhere nearby, ready to jump in and protect her from anything. He takes his job very seriously despite being fairly chill most of the time. He lets Desert do as she pleases because he knows that he can keep her safe from anything that came her way. In this scene, he's nudging her awake cause she fell asleep again despite it being night time.

The kids table at Hearths warming has always been hectic compared to the adults table. Even back when the kiddie table was just a half dozen foals fighting over who got the last slice of Mrs Applejack's famous apple pie, things were loud. So loud that the kids got their own section just so the adult ponies didn't have to scream to communicate with each other. Now, despite most of the 'kids' being either in the early 20's or late teens, they still sit together, cause they love catching up with one another. They still, however, fight over the last slice of pie like it's a death match.
