I sat in a diamond which pointed both ways. Towards the heavens, and toward purgatory. I was warned once that humans could take a hold of all things beautiful and could make them ugly. This is true. They can. They can break a heart and keep on breaking it. Can lay a body, and obscure truth. But we are also benevolent, merciful, and giving beyond imagination.
If you believe the truth is that we as a people are irredeemable. That we as brothers and sisters are terrible shadows far too late for second chances and lost love reclaimed...it's time to know more. It's time to feel more.
The truth..is that we are, all of us, responsible for our own happiness. That to love and be loved, we must love ourselves, and remember tomorrow comes whether we say it shall or not. That we are vicious, and beautiful, and worth saving ourselves. Those with whole hearts, and those with little left.
