Well, I never suggested Espio adopted him, simply that he took him in, but I see. I don't know how the police could be so lenient towards a murderer, especially since they already have him in custody, but it's good on him. ^^

I don't think juvenile detention would be much more lenient, but it is a form of self defense, right? Yeah, I think he could be excused for that. Or given a light punishment, at least.

still, if he escape from someone view for more than 10 minutes, he must go back in prison until even the police say he's not dangerous (wich it not what he showed when they tried to capture him, he acted a bit like a wild beast)

no, he's not part of the team, he have no right to out without someone looking for him and he would be too much of a distraction in a scene of crime, so he still with Shadow at the chaotix house in this case (or in Shadow's house sometimes but it's rare)
