Yeah, my entire Elder Scrolls experience both started and ended with Arena. Spent 45 minutes filling out the New Character questionnaire, ended up with a human Spellsword, and got slaughtered in the first dungeon in only 15 minutes. Gave up and never gave the series another shot. I've heard it's better since then, but I haven't really cared enough to bother trying again.

I started with Oblivion, which is much more beginner friendly so I guess that's probably why I stuck with the series as well as I did. Eased into it.

Whereas, yeah, I started and ended with Arena. Fuck that game.
