After failing to win over Ash's heart, Chikorita decided to try to get together with other Pokemon that she had in mind. One of the first Pokemon that came to her mind was Oshawott, one of Ash's later Pokemon. So she decided to wrap her vines around Oshawott and try to kiss him.
