Welcome to the "Earth"
Yes. In Madlaines world they call their own planet earth too XD

So I just uploaded it for fun, so you can see how far this will go.

There are 3 maps. The first map including just the nations on the eath at the moment of the comic. If you want to know a bit of diplomacy of this world ask me and I will upload it too.

In map 2 you can see the story"line". Each pot stands for a chapter.

The thrid map is the nations map, 20 years ago.

It's funny that you named the world in your story "Earth".  I've always thought that, in the native language, each world's inhabitants would name their world "Earth", unless they're an aquatic species then they'd name it water.  In a story I recently completed uploading, the name of the planet it takes place on is Tashoo which is a corruption of their word tasho which means, dirt or earth.

sure but I always hate it when I read those terrible god names or nation names from games. It's really annoying. So I simply call that world simple as it is. Earth. And all praces and names are inspired on real ones.
For example the town in the 3rd chapter is called convitayac. it's called after a river. Robert de Breteau. Is called after the bretagne in france. A poitou flower is called after the french town Poitou. Kleefstones itself is also such a joke.

I've done that in my writings, too.  For example, my icon's name is Amanda Fuchs; she's the female protagonist in a story I'm writing.  In the story I've got Edward Blaidd (a wolf), Leo and Tigresa Panthera (a lion and tiger couple), Reginald Renard, III, (an arctic fox), and many others like that.  As you may have figure out, all the family names of the non-human characters are based, at least loosely, on the species they represent.

okay by renard i directly think of "Renard du chatillion". Thou i have to be honest, that calling someone after his species is sort of boring. Besides imagine a society with thousands of rabbits. Would you call every one hopps for example? Maybe it is a nice joke once but it can become ridiculus when used to much I think. Because it appears unnatural.

I understand what you're saying but, like humans, certain names would be common, i.e. Smith, Jones, Johnson, etc.  But, there's also the lesser known or thought of names such as Foxfire, plus the names would come from all the different human languages.  (How many are languages are there?)  Plus, there's the fact that large families are commonplace among my humanimals.  The father of Amanda is the oldest of 10 and her mother is the youngest of 11.  So, having literally thousands of characters with the same family name wouldn't be out of place.  But, I actually only have less than 100 characters whose names are actually mentioned and there are numerous different "species".  So, the family names wouldn't necessarily be repeated over and over.  But, I do understand your fear(?) about repeating family names.  However, I do hope that I've taken that into consideration by using the idea of giving family names that might not necessarily be directly related to the species.  For example, Alvin Puss would be a cat.  Loretta Canis would be a dog.  Most people might not get the connection but some would.
