Character Description
Avira is a male Nevrean who travels the land as an entertainer and part-time escort; singing, dancing and performing for an audience and sometimes selling his "services" for more private affairs. He has an interest in both the occult as well as firearms and often combines the two together whenever possible.
Personality
He is polite and courteous to strangers, friendly and amicable to friends, a harlot with clients & lovers, and has a patronizing demeanor with those he dislikes.
He's always looking for new contacts and friends, or sometimes just looking to get laid. He believes flattery, witty banter, and suggestive commentary are the best ways to win someone over, but will back off if someone isn't receptive.
He knows that his lifestyle may seem unsavory to some but believes his kind will always be needed. He's comfortable mingling with the common folk as well as schmoozing within high society, knowing that friends can be made in both high and low places
Underneath the charm and confidence is a complicated mind, and there are inner demons yet to be dealt with, so he does his best never to appear too vulnerable around others. He has an almost pathological need to be liked, desires to be loved despite having difficulties reciprocating, and has a tendency to be manipulative in order to get his way.

The only known relative that Avira has is his mother, Aniya.
Avira's parents met while his mother was travelling during her service in the military. Their romance was shortlived and his father left the nest before the young Nevrean was even hatched. Avira has never met his father and has no contact with his paternal family.
After her service in the military, Aniya settled down in a region far from her relatives. Living so far away and being a bit of a black sheep herself left Avira with little contact with his maternal family.
As caring, loving, and providing as Aniya had been, she was incredibly overbearing and Avira left the nest to experience the world on his own at the first possible opprotunity. Despite having been eager to leave home, and otherwise having little contact, he still keeps regular correspondence with his mother and loves her dearly.

Designation: "Irregular" - While lithe and cherubic like most standard males of his species, he is technically deemed "irregular" for exhibiting somewhat androgynous features. He is very slightly taller than the average male, sports relatively large horns (comparative to a female), and his voice isn't as falsetto and lilting as other males'.

Avira has pale feathers down from his face, neck, chest and belly, all the way down to his nethers. His primary plumage is a royal mauve with patterns of lighter colored feathers and darker feathers along his wings, tail and "hair" as well as variant colors within his wings and the ornate tip of his tail. His beak, horns, hands, feet, and crystal are violet. He has downy rump feathers that taper off to a long tail with a few large, decorative feathers with an ornate display pattern.
Clothing
Avira has a tendency to enjoy more antiquated styles of clothing. He finds Victorian, steampunk, lolita and ouji fashions to be an extension of his own personality: fancy and prissy, but also with the capacity to be down to earth. It makes him feel pretty and it gives him a sense of importance that he may not organically possess. Whether it's a slice of life story or within a fantasy or sci-fi adventure, kodona style clothing can fit nearly anywhere within regal gatherings or down-trodden slums, so Avira can almost always be found sporting something of this nature.
Accessories
Avira wears glasses. His spectacles tend to be of a vintage Victorian style with round or smooth rectanglar shapes. The Nevrean wears glasses because it is medically necessary, being severely nearsighted, but also has several different pairs for stylistic variety.
The little peeper has also had body modification to fuse a crystal gem that compliments his plumage to his breastbone.
