Because it makes her easier to draw. :P

Namely that I needed to give her shoes. Why? Paws, and feet in general, creep me out to no end. Dunno why. I tried giving her that design to get over my phobia and draw something more traditionally anthro but it didn't work out and I'm not bothered about continuing to try. At least now I can draw her without feeling dirty. :V

Second thing is that I'm still trying to figure out how her wings work. I want them to look like wings and not the hastily scribbled kind like I usually draw, although it'll make drawing her take more time in comic panels. She was originally designed for a comic, which is why she doesn't have a lot of detail. (I don't like drawing complicated characters for comics, I'm slow enough already, it took me 6 hours just to sketch 3/4s of a page, I bet regular comic artists could do that in less than 2. :l But her wings need to look like wings, and move like wings, although I'm unclear about how wings move, truthfully. At least on anything but birds.

The other stuff is minor, like pants that tuck into shoes, which was an idea I got from the Nintendo console design of the Harvest Moon protagonist, and though it doesn't show much here, her expressions are made to look more like those seen in a Myazaki film. Also I'm trying to think in terms of a 3D model, so I gave her that fluff you see on the side of a fox's face, in addition to her whiskers, which actually came from an accidental experiment on LBP a long time ago. The goal of the extra fur is to make it clear her hair in back is supposed to be hair and not the fluff. Also got rid of an annoying line when drawing hair, it made no sense.

I've started to ink it, I've changed things in the ink such as position of the far wing and resizing her hands to match each other, while I'm at it, I might as well make her arm lenth match because it clearly doesn't in the sketch. >_> She looks a bit taller than I prefer her to but since I'm inking it in vectors, it's a really easy fix.

Will probably color it in Photoshop for the sake of trying out Photoshop. It probably won't work so I'll end up using Paint Shop anyway. :V

The proportions seems a bit off, the lower section seems too small for the rest of the body.

Yeah I noticed that, too. I'm not a big fan of this sketch now that I've been working on it, I might just do another one.
