Just the twinkle of little lights...
The Poinsetta star atop the tree is something of an heirloom, belonging to the first fake Christmas tree my parents bought when as a child I was discovered to have a devastating allergy to pine mold. It's easily thirty-five years old at this point, with all its original bulbs. The garland atop the window (not the swag) I have had with the same clear flicker-twinkle lights, since my first apartment around 1989.
