RL makes for the best stories. just to bad that it is the sad and bad times.

it is still sad but using money to make others feel better. there was a better move i would have made in this page. i hope there is more to this comic still to come.

There is one more page left to this story. I may write the sequel story to it.

It's all in perspective. I've had a lot of blessings in my life. I STILL have a lot of blessings, including being able to play in the fandom. And I've had some sadness. But, can there be joy, where there has been no sorrow?
You can only suffer loss when you've known love, and had someone touch your soul.........

Very true... I've certainly been very fortunate as well...but also feeling sadness at some point... but there's no point in always being sad ^^ *Waggles a little* I just take what life has to offer me for right now... I'm just lucky to be able to get up everyday and enjoy the company of those who care for me :)

Exactly! Enjoy the joy you know, help those you can, spread a little joy and happiness, and, if you've been an asshole, fess up and make amends.

Why would he leave them there?  Isn't that an overly run down place for them to stay?

Fair question. Perhaps Visvasa saved all her money for the child's medical care. But there are many in India who live in the slums, and go off to white collar jobs.

I don't say this much but....this is quite......a very.....touching story muzzle. hehe it's funny how spirits appear when you least expect em.

Good observation. They don't neccesarily appear when or where you expect them.

seems like it is just guilting someone into doing something...

by making someone reliving their painful memories.
graymuzzle

Well, is it wrong to get someone to do the right thing by guilt? I don't know, but Mom musta been wrong, cause she did it all the time. Seriously, people get so into themselves, they don't see what is right in front of them. gray needed a reminder that his loss is history, but they he can help someone else not experience one. Doing for others doesn't erase his loss, but helps him feel better. And it certainly helps that poor little girl. So, IMHO, yes, guilt is fair play.

Or mr over dramatic spirit could say "Hey that lady's kid gonna die, could you help?" And this fox Gray Muzzle don't seem like the puppy kicking type of evil person this comic seem to be trying to paint. So the message im getting is "Hey your evil for having money! instead of asking or letting you know and choose for yourself to help. I'll just use the lowest way of getting people to help by guilting you unnecessary"  Yah it would be better if he knew her kid is dieing beforehand.

Through this could be poor story telling, If you paint mr fox guy as a more evil type of person then it would be more understandable.

Welllllllllllll..........
The spirit is nudging Gray toward doing the right thing. It's as much about making Gray a better happier person as it is about helping someone else. The point being that people only change when they change themselves. Coersive? I suppose most change occurs under coersive conditions. If things are perfect, there's no incentive to change.
