Does it have to be a new sword every year? I mean, if the blacksmith is sick, can you just pull one up and shank it back down? :o

I imagine there's more than one blacksmith. There's clearly a steady market for 'em, and it's a seller's market. (What are you going to do? NOT buy one, and suffer the consequences?!)
