Deciding to go for something a touch more dynamic...I actually plan to work on this picture more a touch later..but I wanted to let my paw rest from drawing..along with getting time to think on it more. I think the head might be a touch small. Tail is also too small so I'll need to increase its size. The back arm..same thing. I think the legs are almost correct..but need to work on the back one a touch more as well. I might wind up putting more 'bends' into the picture to make it look more dynamic. But as the title says supposed to look like someone is in the middle of dancing....
So did a touch of an update..fixed the head problem..fixed the length of the left arm..tried to work on the tail some..but its going to be a toughie for me..so I left it as is. Think I got the breasts better defined...I should probably work on getting her clothing to look the way I want it next.
To be honest I'm doing this as an homage to an old friend of mine I knew way back in furcadia...around 1998-2002, name was Dancing Wind. With the name, and the chosen colors of her clothing (plus some drawings she did way back) I always saw her dress and mannerisms as a cross between a sterotypical native american 'princess' and a gypsy girl..the clothing will reflect that..with some twists of my own as well. Probably looking more gypsy than anything. Debating on bustline a touch.....I personally don't like huge knockers..but I know some do...we never discussed breast size..so I don't know what she was supposed to have. So I'm trying to go semi-conservative. Otherwise most of the time when I make a female they don't have breasts...or have tiny ones.. modeled more after non-human animals for the most part (so they have the milk-sack lining their stomach, not all in one area.)
