I enjoy seeing these photographic dioramas. :3

But where do you get all the little props and items for the dolls? ^^

There's a world of stuff out there. Most dollhouse/diorama stuff is 1/12 scale. But Peteena is about Barbie size, and she is a 1/6 doll. there's still a lot of things in 1/6, 'cause that's the standard for fashion dolls. The best stuff is Japanese. Re Ment does the finest miniatures. If you see a really realistic item, it's likely that. It's all on Ebay.
Barbie and the other fashion dolls have a lot of stuff too. Most of it has cheesey stickers and awful colors. For some reason they think all little girls want everything in pink and purple. So, that has to be refinished, to give it a realistic look.
then there is custom. All the rooms, the upholstered furniture, wooden tables, floor coverings are custom. There is a huge community of people who work on doll dioramas so there's lots of talk, picture sharing, and information swapping.

Thank you. :3
It all sounds very cool and interesting, but also like hard work in it's own right.

I put a lot of time in, but is it hard work when you're having fun?
