Abilities: Tiberius cannot run faster than a normal hedgehog, unlike his brother. However, he has incredible martial arts skills that he started learning from their father. He dedicates himself to the art, including forgoing footwear as a way to be more ‘connected to the earth.’ He can punch and kick at rapid speeds before tiring, which earned him the nickname Speedy by Knuckles.
He also has a unique ability that he cannot sense himself. He contains a secondary energy inside his body that produces a pyramid-like shield around himself when he feels threatened. However, this shield only appears if he’s closing his eyes, thinking he’s about to be hurt badly by an attack he cannot escape. This energy shield stops solid projectiles, but redirects energy attacks by sending them out one of the other faces.
Personality
Tiberius is a quiet and somewhat shy hedgehog. He’s prone to being very emotional, especially if he’s having a sensitive conversation with someone, often crying at the tip of a hat. He tends to put others' happiness above his own. However, he’s far from a pushover. He won’t let himself be manipulated into doing things that he believes are wrong, such as doing drugs or anything illegal or degrading.
Though lonely, he has trouble forming deep attachments to people. He fears that if he loses one more person that he becomes deeply attached to, he won’t be able to recover. He allows himself to be content with their company and the memories they make. Due to this, when it comes to dating, he is the exact opposite of jealous. If he finds that they may have an interest in someone else, he encourages them to seek out what they think will make them happiest. He's overall a very chaste individual.

*Anything depicting blood, gore, horror, or torture causes him to experience panic attacks, as they subconsciously remind him of his own horror.
Background/History
Tiberius was born on Christmas Island to Karina and Arvid, living in a cottage not too far from a small village near the coast. His brother Ogilvie was born a few months before his fifth birthday, and they lived a peaceful live for a while. However, a month or so after Ogilvie's first birthday, they were attacked by a group of cultists demanding the younger hedgehog. Tiberius was forced to hide in the cottage, watching in horror as his parents were brutally attacked through a window in the attic.
The deranged cultists set fire to the cabin, forcing him to escape through the building with his brother. His mother forced him to run off, leaving him unable to say anything to them before they succumbed to lethal injuries. He cared for Ogilvie for some time, but he was soon kidnapped and separated. Upon escaping and landing in an unfamiliar body of water, he was rescued by a group of people on a boat, discovering he was on Westside Island.
The subsequent trauma caused Tiberius to become extremely bereft and scarred, leaving him unable to remember any specific details without suffering flashbacks. The incident also repeats in vivid nightmares, causing him to suffer from chronic insomnia. Only able to remember his brother is out there, somewhere, he's wandered across the planet in a blind search. Fifteen years later, he encounters Sonic and the gang, who are patient enough to help him with nothing to go on.
After nearly two months, Tiberius is able to finally remember some important details of Ogilvie. Their birthplace, his name and that his brother had somewhat light blue fur and black eyes. Upon revealing this information, Tails reveals that Sonic is the only blue hedgehog he knows of who was born on Christmas Island. After a DNA test is performed, Tiberius and Sonic learn of their connection, and decide to start making up for lost time, though their relationship is more akin to Sonic's with Tails. It's only after a while that he's able to remember what happened to their mother and father, but he still doesn't know who kidnapped him and why.

World/Setting
Tiberius lives in the same world as Sonic (SEGA-verse). He is staying in a small town near Apotos when he meets the heroes.
Body
Light, fawn-hued skin, light orange fur covering most of his body except his muzzle, chest/belly, and arms. He has energy-induced heterochromia iridum, resulting in his right eye being blue and his left being green due to the presence of a weak, secondary energy. Each of his head quills has four green pinstripes that end in small dots at the front, converging at the end of the quill. Due to his lack of footwear, his claws have grown out.
Clothing
A black, worn jacket, white gloves, and a pair of faded, ratty jeans
Accessories
A small golden locket is in an inside pocket of the jacket. He also has a set of bladed knucklers and metal claw blades that he wears for battling robots.
