Shadow sees half of Blaze's face as Maria's. He puts his hand on Blaze's side of the face. Shadow: "Goodbye, Maria. And goodbye... Blaze...." Shadow closes his eyes, and feels like his life is fading. Lights appear in the colors of the chaos emeralds. A familiar female voice is heard. The voice: "The power of the Chaos Emeralds is restricted only to those who are true heroes. Only to those who would sacrifice themselves for a just cause, no matter thier past. There is a legend of a black hedgehog who's power was like no other. He had a natural connection to the power of Chaos, and could stop time using only one Emerald. He was a proud warrior with a loving woman. One day, he lost his woman to a mighty dragon and succumbed to the rage known as Chaos Boost. He wiped out all the dragons on both Earth and Mobius. The warrior died while fighting the last dragon, and the dragon fled to the stars, vowing to return to the warrior to extinguish that which he is to protect. It was said that once every few generations, a Shadow Warrior would be born. A hedgehog of black fur with power like no other. A warrior capable of legendary feats, and tasked with ending evil. You are a combination of the Shadow Warrior and The Last Dragon. With the blood of both, you can defeat any enemy. Wake up, mighty warrior. The power of Chaos is yours to command..." Shadow wakes up, and gets to his feet. He looks up to the foe that killed him, Eggman Nega. Nega has come back to Mobius to take it over. Shadow looks Nega in the eyes, and he goes Hyper. Hyper Shadow: "Fool. Return to your world, or I will destroy you." Nega: "I dworked too hard on my master plan! No one can stop me!" Hyper Shadow: "Chaos Control!" Shadow teleports himself and Nega to the Sol universe. More specifically, Nega's base. Shadow's fluctuating rainbow body surrounds with red energy. "CHAAAAOOOOOOOSS!" The energy turns into a ball that shields Shadow, "BLAAAAAAAAST!" Shadow releases a Chaos Blast that vaporizes Nega and his massive base. All that's left is a molten glass filled crater. Shadow returns to Mobius, and passes out again. He falls into Blaze's arms, and she feels reassured. Her husband lives...
