2 Days Later; after Tina's mom moved in....

"Either that 'human' goes or I go!"

"Goodbye mom!"

"I mean I could go there and be the emotional support to my mother that she needs as her loving husband lays dying in a bed while she feels helpless in a cold hospital corridor surrounded by pain suffering misery and the constant reminder that death looms over head never leaving.... but she has her own things to work out for herself"

There are things in life we all face alone.

That would mean more if we saw here dealing with it alone by choice, not by abandonment by daughter.

The estrangement between Tina and her mother predates Ray's appearance by many years. Tina was largely raised by her father; their relationship is far closer than it is with Mom. The reasons for which will become clearer.

that doesn't justify anything like you want it to it just cements tina being a horrible person right now.

Like her or dislike her, she is hardly horrible.
I don't 'justify' anything; Tina is a character in a fictional story- the reader can think of her what they will.
By the same token, I don't judge people's parental relationships. I wasn't there, and I have no idea what went on.
Not selling a product here, it's just a story.

Okay but i'm not thinking she's a horrible person. she'd need depth for that. you're just telling me she's a horrible person.
