Original art by Nelson and Victor.
I tend to marf and huff a lot when I feel little. Marf is just an expression of puppyhood, a little bark of happiness (Mommy does the same with arf, saying it means she is bigger than me, but we all know it's not true. After all, I can howl and she cannot). I learned huff from mommy. It's an expression of No but for caretakers, it's a yes. Just a little pup not saying what he really want in all cuteness, according to Lubu. Huff I say to that. I'll never agree to anything related to cuteness in public. I guess all those little noises are signs of a cub's state of mind, telling you he has entered baby mind. For animals who have easy to mimic noises (canines, felines...) you could try to encourage and help your babyfur be better at doing some, and see if he creates his own little vocabulary of littleness.
