Character Sheet for Myra Cutter
Nickname(s)
N/A
Sex/Gender
Female
Species
Leafcutter Ant
Age
1 Year (Leafcutter Worker Ants only live about 3 so...this actually not all that young)
Character Description
Myra's a strong individual...no literally, she is a very strong individual.  Despite her spindly arms and tiny form (and I mean really tiny - a human sized ant wouldn't even be able to lift its own body), Myra can carry things many times her own weight.  Something that Leafcutter Ants...and, well, all ants, are legendary for.  Plus, unlike some mammalian anthros, she sports four arms instead of two, and her feet are also extremely useful in climbing trees and anything with a rough surface, as well as holding leaves together when building bridges. She's a hard worker and rarely gets tired.
Personality
Personality-wise, Myra is a free thinker and is often at odds with her colony-mates.  When she's not helping build another leaf bridge, she tends to stray from the group and gets into trouble more often than not.  She's a worker ant and so, is sterile.  She can't have babies, so starting a nest of her own would be impossible.  To go out on her own would be suicide, which she knows...and this is why she stays close.  But, she still dreams of exploring beyond her little grove in the jungle.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Going out to the very edge of her nest, daydreaming about the outside world, and learning new things about said 'outside world'

Dislikes: Being told what to do, being heckled because of her 'clothes', and working the fungus farm
Background/History
There's not much to Myra's background.  Like many young ants, she grew up pretty fast.  She never knew her father, for he had passed away before she was born.  Male ants of any species don't exactly live long, so a male role model is pretty much non-existent.  However, half way through her first year, Myra began wondering what it was like outside the perimeter of her family's mound.  Of course, her peers didn't appreciate her free thinking nature because it was a strong belief that every member of the colony must play their part.

Why Myra chooses to stay, however, is pretty simple.  She is a worker ant - she cannot have children, and therefore, cannot have a nest of her own.  Heading out into the wilds alone would be suicide.  But, she still dreams about it, and often wonders if she should hitch a ride with passing ant colonies...but, she knows that heading into a strange group of ants is a bad idea.  That doesn't stop her from thinking about it...die here in the only place you've ever seen in your life...or die on an adventure.  Which sounds more appealing?
Relatives/Family
Pretty much everyone in the colony is related - she has a mother but...queen ants don't make it a point to remember all their children.
World/Setting
The Amazon Jungle
Body
Myra is, like all ants, very spindly and thin.  She has a small-ish chest, a thin waist and a larger abdomen with a pointed stinger on the end that she can retract at will.  She also has a strong pair of mandibles that can deliver a very painful bite.  She sports two sets of arms and one pair of legs.  Each foot is tipped by a single sharp claw, along with each finger - very good for climbing and holding onto things.  Her eyes are a bright green, and her antennae are a deep black.  No, she does not have breasts.
Clothing
Myra has this odd habit of making tops out of the leaf scraps left behind by other workers - something her peers find weird and they often make fun of her for it.
Accessories
Nothing in particular - she does sometime use climbing vines to make tiny bracelets that, like her clothes, do decay over time.  But, in the jungle, supplies are rarely short.
You don't see many Bugsonas around...so here she is~
