A lesson earned is a lesson learned.

NOTICE: I am speaking metaphorically.

artists are basically exhibitionists, some are professional exhibitionists like strippers and prostitutes where some are free range like flashers. regardless we are all trying to be seen in some way.

and an artists skill is like a penis, sometimes big, sometimes small... and sometimes enormous!
often as artists we tend to look at those artists whit the majestic 12" or those freakish thunder cocks of immeasurable size and go "i feel so inadequate" and we get all depressed and want to hide our dicks forever or we get a cock pump and force our dick to grow in an unnatural manner.

but in the end size doesn't really matter, somewhere out there there is someone that will appreciate your peen just the way it is, because no matter how big it is it has its own unique features that make it special.

instead of aspiring to have a bigger penis we should take care and nurture the one we have to let it grow naturally to its full potential.

NOTICE: if you haven't noticed that I'm speaking metaphorically please notice now.
this metaphor however also illustrate the feelings of males about their packages... something that baffles most girls... or at least it baffled me till this metaphor dawned on me.

I know what you mean entirely.  I see a lot of different styles and abilities among the artist here and other places I look for art.  And even those whose art skills are lacking I can find a glimmer of talent I like and encourage them to keep moving forward.  One can improve by simply challenging themselves to do better with each piece of art they produce.

=^ω^= indeedy-dee. everyone brings something unique and awesome to their work, regardless of skill.
it's like a bit of a persons soul leaks onto the piece.
thus art is like showing your inner nature to the world, while still having the safety of interpretation like a thin veil only just obscuring your face.
it is from this art we can glimpse into so many beautiful minds while not appearing threatening or imposing.
