computer needs memory!

Just discovered my comp is so sluggish because it doesn't have enough memory. Does anybody have any DDR2 memory they no longer want? I already have a 1gb stick. What I really could use is a pair of 2gb memory sticks.

What speed ram can your system handle? Like DDR2 667 or what not? I might have some ram sitting around. PM me.

I think I have a pack of 4GB DDR2 lying around in my workshop somwhere X3

1GB isn't too shabby. Modern PCs aren't really memory-bound, so adding more memory may or may not make your system faster.

Ask a geek to use a tool called "Autoruns" on your PC (it's a tool from Microsoft). It digs deeper and cleans up a lot more stuff than MSConfig will.
