Okay, so my question then is: what's your favorite things about your intellibird character? Personally I love that he looks and feels so real and yet is just a toy that one can have an awful lot of fun with. *smirk* :D

Alas! I'm not popular!

That's a tough question, actually. I like a lot of aspects of him, but I suppose I could say the fact that he's *made* submissive. There is no question for him what his role in life is, he was designed, both mind and body, to perform a function and he was designed to enjoy and revel in that function. He has other interests outside of his toy-role (such as mods), but there is a tranquility to knowing and enjoying your purpose that I, personally, lack.

Caraway is also an embodiment of my hopes and dreams regarding transhumanism--the technology that would make him possible is the very technology that I hope to someday make possible with my research.

Lastly, and related to both previous ones, is that Caraway doesn't suffer from the goal/desire conflict that I do myself. I'm not a transhumanist who just sits around wanting these things to happen, I've wrapped my whole life around developing the science needed for essential transhumanist technologies. I'm in college right now to get a degree so that I can add my name to the list of people who will make AI possible, and for the past several years I've been trying to codify my beliefs so that I can write a book about them. This life-encompasing issue leaves me little time for pursuing my sexual desires. Caraway is both designed not to have such a conflict, and also lives in a world where my goals are already complete, so when I'm in character, things feel a lot better.

I also feel that androids that know their purpose and are at peace with that will make for the most lovely subservient friends ever, and without fear of pain or tiring, there's no reason to not want to help out others. :3
