I think I'm going to move to Weasyl permanently. I don't have that much of a userbase (nor activity) built up on IB, and quite frankly I'm put off by the site's sexual cub art reputation that might give people the wrong idea when I share my gallery.
(Before anyone pitches in, yes, I know I can block keywords and I have done so; I'm not seeing cub art anymore. But IB is widely known for this content and it's just not a reputation I want to associate myself with. What everyone else does is none of my concern, and if they enjoy it more power to them, I simply made my choice in this matter.)

I also have five invites to give. There's nothing special about invites other than that Weasyl wants to control the influx of members until they're out of Beta (understandably so), and every members get 10 invites per month until the site is fully released.

Sorry to see you go, and sorry to hear that hate fueled opinions have won over the reality of how much sexual cub art is actually on IB (which is as low as 5% if everything is being keyworded properly, but even at 20% that means that a vast majority of art on IB is not 'cub porn'). But I'm not going to debate that, just hope you find greener pastures wherever you go. Once I start using Weasyl (WL?) I'll see about adding you there. As for FA I'm only using it for business and don't plan on watching anyone there. Peace! =3

I never said anything about the amount of sexual cub art, just the reputation that IB has in regards to allowing it and a large majority of cub artists preferring IB over other sites (either because it's not allowed elsewhere or because the site isn't as use friendly as IB). Furthermore it's not hate fueled opinions, but simply the fact IB welcomes these type of artists and that by association people are less likely to venture onto IB and view my gallery, for various related reasons.
It has nothing to do with hate, quantity or anything like that -- I just don't like the association and the impact it has on my potential client and fan base, so I choose to use a different site for my stuff now that I found something I like. (Just saying this because I fear I may have given the wrong impression.)
I also don't use FA anymore because I heavily disagree with the way the site is run, so no need to watch me there. :) I'll be looking forward to possibly hearing from you on Weasyl in the future!

Ack, I didn't mean they were -your- opinions, but it's the hate fueled opinions of others that push people away from this site. It's a massive double standard considering what else is drawn. It's art, it's not real, this is not a pipe, to apply real life morals to fantasy is a silly idea at best. But anyways, don't worry about it. =3 See you on Weasyl sometime later. ^^
