Hey, it's my birthday! And yes, I guess I'm petty / vain / self-absorbed / arrogant / childish enough to actually point it out. ;) Always been a fan of the whole birthday tradition. And gifts. Both giving and receiving. It's da bomb, as the kids would say. Though a bomb rarely makes for an appropriate birthday present.
This will be the first year where I won't have any sort of family celebration in relation to the event, though; most of the relevant family members are either too busy with work, or are sick. So not much point in going to the trouble of trying to arrange something. Which is a shame, and I really hope my family members will recover both fully and swiftly. Unfortunately don't have any current plans with friends, either. But I'm sure a highly caffeinated beverage of my choice and the latest, freshest, and dopest beats of the Pet Shop Boys shall make for good company through the day and night! With occasional spurts of the song Happy, Happy Birthday from Bear In The Big Blue House.
