Handicapped Characters? My Thoughts ^_^

You know, it's pretty sad and ridiculous when people look at your character and go "Ewwww! You have no legs! Pervert!" and then five minutes later go find some scatty picture and comment positively, or some such bull.

I think handicapped characters are wonderful. It might be someone's fetish, but if there's a reasoning behind it, why judge?

If it's just completely random, that's bad.
If there's story or history to it, that's good. lol

I adore these types of characters, and pictures, stories, and roleplay scenes involving them. Why?
Because it means there's people that don't discriminate.
There's been some crazy stuff done but to each his own.
Before you go judging someone's character, learn the story behind it first.
How do you know that the person playing the character with no legs isn't missing their legs in real life? Hmm? Anyways, if you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, shut up. ^_^
Thank you all for reading!

Just a couple to give example.
There used to be a really sweet, adorable comic about a bull and housecat couple where the housecat was a mute, and the finished the comic with him signing "I lvoe you" before they embraced. But I can't find it :c

Also, what would you all think If I created a handicapped character?
I'm thinking maybe multiple handicaps, nothing extreme though.
