Well, I've decided that it's time to try and throw my hat in the ring. I've seen a lot of writers offering story commissions. Jeeves does VERY well for himself, so I'll see what sort of interest I get. I'm not sure yet how I want to structure the commissions, so I'm going to try two systems and you can choose which one until I decide which is best.
1. A Jeeves-style commission of 1000 word story for $5. No limit on characters, plot, or setting
2. A per-word based commission, say 1 cent per word, maybe. This would allow for more complicated requests that would take longer to write.
If you're interested in getting a commission, either reply to this journal or shoot me a private message. Since I don't anticipate a huge influx of requests (I'm no Jeeves, afterall), I'm not going to have a specific number of slots open or anything for now.
This going without saying, but I do reserve the right to veto something I'm not comfortable or knowledgeable enough about. I'm really not into Pokemon, for example, so asking me to write a story involving one may not be something that will meet your expectations. That being said, I don't have too many restrictions when it comes to content I'm willing to do.
