Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday, as well as my favorite day of the year. It's the one day of the year that makes me feel like I couldn't possibly be happier. It's the one day I set aside everything else to focus in on the best thing I have in life: love. Love from my parents, my siblings, my friends, everyone, and my love that I have for all of them in return.
You see, Valentine's Day to me isn't about acknowledging that you're single and being bitter and spiteful over it. It's not about glorifying the relationships of young couples or feeling intense envy for what you think you're missing. It's not some stupid excuse to hook up with someone, and nothing in the media or on the market will dare to tell you otherwise.
Open your eyes and focus your ears. Let me tell you, I strongly believe that it's about knowing that love exists, and knowing that you can feel it and share it with others. Love is all around us, in every meaningful relationship we have ever formed. We might not always take notice that it's there, but it always is--and it's one of the few, genuine things we can count on. So I hope you took time to appreciate the love in your life, whether you're single or taken.

I love you guys. I might feel it differently for everyone, but it's just as real and just as powerful no matter how I express it. I hope you all had a splendid day today. You are all beautiful individuals that deserve to be happy, after all!
