Guess time for a life update journal thing. For the bored or curious.
Been about a month since really gave one. Left Penske on good terms, resolved some stuff that happened to make me quit earlier than planned at least. Pension is secure, insurance over and in the transition to be on my own pan I pay for. Still no income from the real estate thing but I knew that was going to take time. I will be ok.
Since then been in classes, much work on numbers and getting a Realtor I work with, signing many papers for the business legalities, working more on my budget and how the heck to better manage it... TRYING to keep the commission urges in check (better but not perfect), got set up to drive for Uber. Yeah, been busy. But enjoying the challenges and change of pace and stuff starting to push me more out of my comfort zones.
40th Birthday party went real well, OMG was I busy! For about 8 hours solid I was talking to just about everyone on a one-on-one level that wanted to. Was crazy haha.
Got to work on my Chevelle, putting on most of the parts I got for it years ago. Took a lot of pics of it since the previous time I did was in 2010 off a crappy HTC Touch Pro. Got a video of it firing up on new parts HERE if care to see. Ol' Dutch (the truck) is not in good shape, but I don't have time to work on it for now. Got PLENTY of parts I can put on it one day when time frees up for such a project. My 1999 Civic turned 250k miles and still running like a champ!
Other than that not much else to report. I AM around, but with the pace the businesses going and life n general I am not really around in the day to chat actively. And when I Do get free time late at night I mostly just want to go sleep shortly after. This week very busy with business cards and logos, going to two REI seminars, a colonoscopy, flight to Fl for a wealth coach meeting. Talk about pushing me out of my comfort zones! But got to do it and overcome more fears.
ALSO, the 19th marks 22 years been in this fandom. Yay?
