I think we really need to meditate on these words:
"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you."
I see this happen all the god damn time. We want to fight the ills of society, but slowly let them consume us so that we become an equal or greater ill . . .
. . . and the world bleeds because of it.
