Okay, so it has been a while and I have not gotten the promised refunds out, and I am really sorry about that. A thing came up and too priority over everything else
Okay, so here are the details:
A while ago my landlord was diagnosed with lung cancers, it was not a hopeful diagnosis either. For the past two months we have been working together for me to stay in the house at least until the end of the lease, which is the end of this month. I love my landlord, and she has done so much over the years I have lived here that I hate to think about leaving, but with the uncertainty of her current situation, neither of us are feeling eager to sign a new year+ long lease.
So as of the end of the current lease I will be on a month to month lease until I can find a new place, or the prognosis improves to the point we both feel comfortable with signing a new lease. The problem comes in with the whole "Finding a new place" thing. I make decent money, so affording the rent in never an issue, but we have kind of hit a wall with the fact that everyone wants a huge ass deposit before moving in. I'm not going to sit here and say how much I am looking at for deposits, but let's just say it a lot. Then to top off the rental deposits, there is likely going to be utilities also, as I will be moving to a different section of the city that has different utilities.
So I am asking that all those that I still owe a refund, please bear with me because housing my family is really the most important thing to me. As for everything else, my collaborators and I have been working on things, and really hope to get back to posting stuff after this current situation settles down.
