seriusly though we wont ever cure "death" but we could very well cure old age. Imortality is imposible and im sure advanced age will bring a new plethera of issues but it is POSSIBLE to extend the human life far beyound what you would normaly expect...we've been slowly doing it for centuries.

Actually.. that's sort of a semi-myth. The whole "life expectancy" thing is a statistical fallacy. You see, the numbers were so low because 80% of people were dead in the first 15 years of their lives. If you hit 20? You lived as long then as you do now. Humans have been hitting 60-80 for centuries.
