So I'm not one of those popular guys that has tons of fans and loads of friends. In fact, my friends have been dying off one by one over the last 10 years.
Well on July 15th Paranoid Feline, AKA Dean, my last real life friend died in the hospital. I am officially alone in the world as far as real life friends go. He died from complications thanks to cancer.
Somehow being the sole survivor kinda sucks in a situation like this one. And since he was my last real life friend, it really hurts.
I have a few on-line friends and I am grateful for them, but I never get to see them face to face. It isn't the same.
Had he moved away or something like that I think it wouldn't have been so bad because I'd remember him and still know that he was alive. (Even if he had died and I never found out.)
I'll miss you my friend. And some day, I hope to find you again. You were a kind and wise soul. You never hesitated to help someone in need if you could. What really made him such a special friend to me was he was the one that introduced the furry fandom to me. He would go to the furry conventions and take me along with him. He was my best roleplay partner and knew when to be silly and when it was time to be serious.
Good bye Dean. I'll see you soon. Say 'Hi.' to Adam, Wolf, and Paul for me.
