I t happened to me once, and the laptop took it poorly. Hard drive had to be replaced and I had to rebuild & restore all from scratch. I no longer stash my soda on the same table with the laptop & printer.
(An earlier spill only took out the thumbnail and it had to be replaced. They are not expensive, so no need to fix it...Been so long since I needed it, that I forgot that I had one. You just reminded me.)
