I haven't actually. The only Canadian whisky my local drugstore carries is Canadian Mist, which was pretty decent for the price. One of these days I must drive to the city to visit a real liquor store.

My favorite color is purple. Favorite combos are purple and black or hot pink and black. Sometimes hot pink and purple.

I've never kept fish or birds, so I don't really know what those things are like. I guess fish flakes, just because I like the alliteration.

Heh, well the first thing that comes to mind is "Proper maintenance is not a sin". The run those poor machines 23 hours a day and never do maintenance on them, meaning they break down almost every day. I've spent entire days waiting for things to get fixed while my line's quota gets further and further behind.

Ugh, that stinks.  And it's unfair to everyone, because I bet one stopped line affects a lot of other processes and assemblies.

I bet the ones who would make the decision to repair and maintain think they're saving the company money.

I suppose that, on the bright side, my line is second to last in the whole assembly process, so we only end up holding up one other line when things go down. But it's still very annoying and it is inconvenient for everyone. Especially since they insist that we do so much overtime to make up for it, then turn around and yell at people for putting in too much overtime.

They may well think that. Or maybe they don't know what's going on. The people who actually own the company are over in Japan and only visit our factory a couple of times a year.

That doesn't surprise me.  Up until two years ago, the guy who made weather-related decisions for my workplace [closed for snow or major storms, etc] lived about 300 miles away.
