I feel like I should write a journal here at least once a year. Since it's been that long since my last journal, I'll do this Christmas card style and just tell you what's happened in my life since my last journal.
My friend online that I told you about has moved in. He's a bit more grump in real life, and oddly enough, we're more polite to one another when chatting online rather than in person. But aside from that, having him as a roommate has gone smoothly. He now have a job as a pizza delivery driver. And his contribution to the rent is helping my finances so my family can afford my college tuition.
I've been in college for 6 years now. I got my biology degree, now I'm trying to get my computer science degree so I can get into grad school for bioinformatics. This summer I was making a bioinformatics program as a project for some instructor that should help me get into grad school. I just finished it, so now I have a clear mind to catch up on other projects (like this journal).
I brought cat tabby from my parent's house to live in my apartment. She's 16 years old now. She's been with me for most of my life. I want her to spend the last part of her life with me, and she seems to want to do the same given how much she likes to lay on my chest.
That's all I have for now. Hopefully I'll be making more of these journals soon. I like staying in touch with my friends. If I haven't read your journals yet, go ahead and tell me. I'll do it immediately so we can stay caught up with each other's lives.
