Yes, yet more world-building babble, because I find it amusing and because a few of you actually seem to find it mildly interesting.
Besides her sword and perhaps, these days, her crown, Ciara's most noteworthy possession is her amethyst pendant. Depictions of the pendant have tended to vary, with some artists making it more or less fancy, but it is, essentially, a smooth, teardrop shaped amethyst stone suspended from a long black cord. It was a gift to her from her wife Niamh as a sign of Niamh's devotion, and as a way to keep Ciara safe when Niamh couldn't be there to do so in person.
The pendant, which has been in Niamh's family for generations, is famous on the island of Viridis for its healing properties. It is one of the most powerful magical artifacts in the known world which, when worn, grants its owner a significant boost to their natural healing abilities. While it will not prevent injury, it allows Ciara to recover much sooner than she otherwise would, and it seems to boost her immune system to help fight against infection and disease. The only downside, so far as she is concerned, is that it also makes it significantly more difficult for her to get drunk.
The pendant is said to have once been part of a large artifact, often described as a jeweled crown, that belonged to an ancient queen. No record of this queen exists, and there is no solid proof of the crown, either, save perhaps for the fact that the pendant does appear to belong to a larger piece. It is known that the longer one person wears it, the stronger its effects become, but the extent of its powers and if it has any others, or any further drawbacks, is something Ciara has yet to discover.
