Spider-Man: Homecoming; my short review.

Well, I just saw it, and I thought it was okay. I still liked the Amazing Spider-Man movies better though. The High School drama scenes kinda bored me, and none of the supporting cast really 'clicked' with me. I'm not saying there's no room for supporting cast and High School drama, but I've seen it done better in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoons.

The "Karen" suit was okay, but I felt it took away from showing more of Peter's potential as a tech genius for the thing to come "fully-loaded" with stuff like impact webbing and web-grenades and an integrated A.I. I felt that after Tony took that suit away, Peter should've built himself a new suit, more like his traditional one, and keep using it at the end, to show he's ready to progress at his own pace.

Now, as for things I did really like: the villains worked great. I especially liked the Vulture's design. As a friend of mine put it, "Somebody must be really pleased with themselves for remembering that some bomber jackets come with fur collars." And the armor design? Let's face it, comics Vulture can't compete with that.

The action scenes were also very good. And the big climactic battle, and kudos for Peter saving Toomes at the end. This is a Spider-Man who makes sure everyone's alive. And I found that last sequence with Tony and Pepper touching and funny.

That's it for my short review.
