HELP!  BROKEN TABLET!

Hey, I busted the screen on my tablet and now the screen its totally inoperable.  I do not have usb debugging turned on either.  I have a lot of... er... smut on the tablet that I do not want to lose.  (no idea where to find half of it).  I have bought a few items to try to give me the ability to connect it to my tv and use a keyboard to unlock it but that has not worked either.  All of the software out there says I need to have usb debugging activated in order for it to work too.  I even tried to use the samsung store to get to the images but each time i try to get to it using the profile it doesn't work...  I am at my wits end.  I have no idea where to go from here...  Nothing has worked, each endeavor has ended the same way... failure.  Has anyone else had this issue?  Anybody have any ideas?  I REALLY want to be able to get everything i have on the tablet :(

Does it not show up as a folder if you plug it into a Windows PC? How do you get files onto it?

It shows up but nothing is accessible.  I have to find a way to unlock it.  Or buy another screen and swap it out.

and you have to be able to see the screen to enable USB debugging too...
Unless it's a full size windows tablet with a standard formfactor SSD inside it, yeah, you might be SOL.

I know I was able to download apps remotely trough the android app store to my phone using my connected google account, and turn then on via the app store as well. I'm sure your not the first woth this issue. Let's see if we can find you a app that remotely turns on usb debugging.

Okey, there is a way to enable debugging using codes to communicate with your tablet when hooked into your pc. Google this: enabled adb via the default.prop and compiled the kernel and flashed in recovery(sideload)

I need sleep. So gl with the internet on this one.

If it's a Samsung tablet, then you might be able to get a replacement screen installed at a cell-phone repair place... Or DIY. Depending on how old it is. :/

Every place I have asked about it at said they would have to send it in to be repaired at a samsung facility
