Took my cat Roll to see the vet today... she had a strange infection that had developed over the past couple days... I had no idea what it was or how it came to be... turns out it was a tumor... a big breast cancerous tumor... too big to be removed to make a difference. I had no choice but to end her suffering... and have her put down... so... yeah... I'm really... really... really upset right now... I had Roll... ever since she was a kitten... old enough to be taken from her mother... I'm gonna miss hearing her call out to me... when I get home from work and am about to open the door after being gone all night... when my alarm goes off and she knows I am waking up...
She always new the song that played on my phone... when the Cave Story theme played... that meant I was getting out of bed... and she was ready to greet me with a good morning... she was the best cat... nay... the best pet and companion I ever had... and I'm really gonna miss her...
