Does it feel weird that women make up such a small percentage of the fandom, but close to a 50/50 split for artists?

I've never really thought about it, to be honest. I've met a fairly even number of women and men in the community, myself, and an equally even mix of artists and non. But I freely admit to mostly sticking to my own little corner. I don't go to 'cons and I'm not really able to participate in streams these days. So I don't know what the actual ratios might be. I would imagine it's pretty much of a coincidence, though.

Oh gosh. Probably Every Breath You Take by The Police. The Stalker Song, as my friends from college used to call it. It's slightly unfair, as my aversion has nothing to do with the song itself, and everything to do with the bad memories it conjures of my first girlfriend.

Oh, never fear. It all happened almost 20 years ago, so it's not so bad as it once was.

I've never actually listened to anything else they've done. My taste in music tends to be rather esoteric, leaning toward bizarre, and it has only been in the last few years I started listening to anything that my own generation might have been into. I should give them a try, though.
