On Monday, I will go down to town hall and get a permit to have a fence installed on my property front. This hopefully will deter any further vandalism on the part of some neighbors . Twice this year,at least, the garden around a rose bush in the front yard was destroyed. Lilies,Iris, peonies, a tiger lily were mowed down and the debris dumped around. The rose bush was that badly pruned, that it is not likely to bloom next year. There was also similar vandalism in the lily & iris bed next to the driveway. Inlcuding what looks like a trench across the flower bed attempted.

My folks worked on planting the garden in the front, which predates it before 2003 (year my father died).
We have had no trouble until a year or so ago, when repeated mowing vandalism first occurred.
I do not know if this mischief & destruction is in any way linked to the burglary (coins stolen, comics stolen, a VCR monitor stolen,money taken debit cards stolen & used, and an assault). They may have harbored this thug. Judging by the trash, vandalism ,etc., I wouldn't put it past them.
I don't want to have to move as I will need extensive help every step of the way.
