About my tablet

So i decided I should try to fix it and I kinda did. The thing I had to do was bend the part that's inside of the tablet where you connect the usb and it kinda works, I don't want to move it around since I'm scared it might not work at all. Thank you for those who were worried, I'll work with this until I can afford a new one.

This exact thing actually happened to me only a few months ago, I'm glad you're finding a way around at least!

Glad to hear it ! That would have suck to lose such a good Sonic artist because of a tablet >_< !!

Is that a Cintiq ? An Intuos ? You sure you can work with it without problems anymore ?

I don't know what I would do if I lose my pentablet one day...

Is it in a state that you could work with it to take commissions to pay for a new one?

Hmm, that is a sorta quick fix, yes.. xD
Since your option would have been to throw it away as it seems, I would suggest to get some 2-component glue (available in any DIY store for 5-10$) and glue the cable while it#s in the working position, inserted to fix it properly in this position forever.
You can use that glue while the tablet is powered (to go sure that the position is right) because it doesn't conduct power.
You can put several sheets of paper below the connector and cable to avoid gluing onto the table.
It would also make sense to glue in multiple rounds ontop of each other.

Of course it would be still prettier to open it up and resolder and glue on the inside...

If messing with the connector in the tablet fixed it, then that means that the little gold tabs inside it were bent out of shape and aren't making proper contact.
