I think it's time

A while ago I hinted at the thought of a group I wanted to make, dedicated to helping artists and commissioners through tools and learning.  I didn't really do it cause I didn't think it would be helpful to anyone until recently I found this:

Sufficed to say I was a bit shocked to see this happening now, with nothing the artists can do to figure out who is legit and who is just for themselves.  Reputation helps, but there is new commissioners coming in all the time; and to be fair this is a one instance singling out, but with the recent rise in juvinial access with parents disposable income I think it will turn into a problem soon.  So I think it's time.

For...

THE COMMISSIONERS UNION!

So, you may be asking, what is it?  Well it depends on who you are (will be offered on IB, FA, and DA for now).

For Commissioners:

It's a group that teaches and helps.  We will be hosting classes that will teach the basics for communications, saving your money for important stuff and not spending it on art, and other things that would help you be a better with yourself and the art you buy.  At the end there will be a test that you'll need to take to be accredited, so we do expect you to take these classes seriously.  After which you'll be open to all benifits for joining the group, special events, raffles, group meets, etc.

For Artists:

For those who are with the group, you'll have access to all the finals so that you may judge and evaluate the commissioners yourself and find out if they are worth your time.  We will also give a shout out for emergency commissions, and a few other perks as well.

Now all this sounds great and all but it's far from ready.  I need to make lesson plans, figuring out how to have this paid for (yes there will be fee's associated with the class or just the test).  And I also have some irl stuff to get out of the way, like moving or finding another job or having a roof over my head (hopefully not the lader).  But I am making this journal for a reason, I need some information.

From Artists:
I want to know what the most important aspects are to your relationship with the commissioners and you, if I know what those are I can figure out how to get them better so your time will be easier for the both of you.  And I want to know what your most concerned with in regards to the relationship, thinks you don't want to happen.  Leave them down in the comments section.

From Commissioners:
I need help with the curriculum.  Communication skills and money saving is a good start, but there are other aspects to this trade that I am not familiar with or haven't had much experience with.  I'd also like assistance in a overview and suggestions for the final, since each version will be different.  I also wouldn't mind some volunteers for teaching if ya got the time.  Leave your idea's and suggestions at my PM, make sure to put the letters "CU" at the beginning so I know where it's from.

From everyone else:
Just spread this journal around, the more that participate the more ready this will be.  I don't have a set date for when this will happen, but I'm hoping sometime this year.
