Should I submit this (aka I KNOW I should... it's about the Emoji aliens from Samurai Jack)?

by
Ok, for those of you who are fans of Samurai Jack, and have seen the 5th and final Season... who else besides me liked the "Emoji" aliens that Jack saved, at the start of the first episode? I mean REALLY liked them? As in "You felt a tiny bit crushed that they were only in that one scene in that one episode... not even to be shown, again, as a callback when Ashi tried to re-find Jack, all while meeting all of those who owe their lives/freedom to him and are thankful."?

Let me make this clear when I say: I know the teal, mute, text/emoji-talking alien "doggos" did not have the same level of impact as the Woolies, the Archers, the Ravers, the Scotsman, etc. etc. etc... I am fully aware of that... but they somehow enamored me in such a way that I feel that one last thing could've been done with them, just to leave me, the viewer, satisfied.

Which brings me to WHY I'm making this post: I'm kind of in the midst of making a tiny little "headcanon" one-shot/send-off fic, which starts off near the beginning of Episode 10 (when Aku began broadcasting his capturing and soon-to-be slaughtering of everyone's hero and savior: the Samurai), and goes in a way that's unexpected, as the little family of alien doggy-gelflings (I always affiliate the Emojis with dogs, goats, and Gelflings... don't ask. lol) watch in horror in the midst of a TV shop in the city, from their (mostly Hali's [the daughter]) perspective. I have ideas for interesting twists and turns that may be unexpected, but I feel I may do well enough that it won't come off Mary-Sue-ish in the slightest (spoilers: No, they do NOT fight Aku, with all the others. lol).

So... if my "word salad" of a synopsis for this fic seems to intrigue some of you, don't hesitate to give me your feedback and thoughts. Thanks for taking the time to read this, everyone.
